Ipe Oil Plus slightly different color than standard Ipe Oil
I used standard Ipe Oil for my fence and it is working great and has retained a nice color and finish for several months now. I bought Ipe Oil Plus for a new deck I am building and noticed the color is a bit more yellow than the fence. Still looks nice though and want all the protection I can get for the deck since the boards are horizontal and more subject to damage buy the elements.

Ipe Deck looks great
One particular negative is that I find the smell to be really awful! It smells like old fish to me. It is taking a long time for the smell to dissipate but I am now able to sit on the deck without gagging. It took about a month before I could tolerate the smell.
