I was on the lookout for something to help rid the scratches in my kitchen sink and stumbled upon HOPE'S Perfect Sink Cleaner and Polish, and I must say, it truly lives up to its name. As a homeowner who takes pride in maintaining a clean and polished kitchen, I have tried numerous sink cleaners in the past, but none have impressed me as much as this one. First and foremost, this cleaner is incredibly effective at removing stains. Over time, my sink had developed some stubborn stains and scratches that seemed impossible to get rid of. However, after just one application of the HOPE'S Perfect Sink Cleaner and Polish, those stains and horrible scratches were completely gone. I was amazed at how effortlessly it restored my sink to its original pristine condition. What sets this cleaner apart from others is its versatility. My sink is made of cast iron, and I was initially worried about using a product that might damage the surface. However, the HOPE'S Perfect Sink Cleaner and Polish is specially formulated to be safe for use on a variety of materials, including cast iron, Corian, and composite sinks. This gave me peace of mind knowing that I could use it without any risk of causing damage. Another standout feature of this cleaner is its ease of use. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making the application process a breeze. I simply applied a small amount of the cleaner onto a sponge, gently scrubbed the surface, and then rinsed it off. This is a fantastic product! I have a stainless steel sink in the laundry room that was stained and grimy looking. After rubbing with Perfect Sink and using several microfiber cloths for about 20 minutes it now looks like brand new. (I regret not taking a “before” picture!)

I don't normally do product reviews. However, I was so satisfied with the results from this product that I wanted to share. The product was used on 2 older stainless steel sinks (>20 years old). For the first sink, I didn't get a before image, but the end results are apparent. The product cleaned and shined the sink and removed "cloudy" areas that I hadn't been able to remove using other cleaners or methods. The 2nd sink was very heavily corroded and dingy. Now the sink looks brand new. Initially, I used paper towels for application and cleaning. The job absolutely could have been finished using just paper towels. However, I agree with other reviews that using paper shop towels or old cloth does work better since they are sturdier and last longer than standard paper towels. Using the product is easy. Just apply, rub in (about same effort as cleaning a window), and rinse or wipe away. There wasn't much elbow grease involved in cleaning these sinks and it didn't take very much product to get results. I still have nearly 1/2 a bottle left after cleaning two SS sinks (one average stained and one heavily stained). It also doesn't take much time to get results. Just apply, rub the product around to remove stains, and wipe off or rinse. I didn't find that leaving the product on the sink for a time yielded any different outcome than immediate removal after application. Even the heavily corroded sink took less than 30 minutes to achieve the results shown. Some reviews noted that the product left scratches on their sink. I did not notice this at all and I never felt like I was scratching the sink while using the product. There are definitely scratches visible in the attached pictures, but these scratches were already there and not a result of using the product. If anything, the product cleaned the sink so well that these scratches became easier to see. Highly recommend this product for cleaning SS sinks!

Top is Barkeeper's friend, bottom is followed by Hope's. There is a slight difference in sheen but if you already have BF I would not run to buy Hope's. That said - it does polish very well, you can tell by the amount of black residue on the towel. I think it would work just as well on its own. One star for not removing the stains in the corner - the amount of elbow grease I put in to that has to be one star at least ;)

We bought a new home and the builder put in brushed stainless steel appliances and kitchen sink. I remember stainless sinks from my youth and don't know why its a fashion statement. Wish I could have ripped out my old Kohler porcelain sink plus black appliances and brought hem with me! Anyways....on with the review. I have tried literally dozens of SS polishes and sprays that all promise to repel water, smudges and stain's. So far HOPE is hands down the best! NOTE: HOPE IS WEEKLY TREATMENT.....Combine a simple daily treatment with weekly cleansing using a soft abrasive cleaner suck as HOPE. Remember to always scrub in the direction of the polish lines so that your efforts blend with the surface of your sink. Since most soaps and detergents contain chlorides, once cleaning is complete, rinse the surface immediately to prevent corrosion. Rinsing in clean hot water leaves stainless steel shiny and germ free, all ready for the next use. Avoid carbon steel brushes or steel wool should be avoided as they lead to rust and corrosion. Lastly, it is advisable to wipe the surface completely with clean dry towels so that the water does not evaporate and leave water spots. Avoid the use of oily rags or greasy cloths when wiping the surface. Regularly drying your sink works wonders to prevent water and surface rust marks. Looking for that extra sparkle? Club soda will do the sparkle trick as well. After placing the stopper in your sink, pour some club soda in and rub with a soft cloth. As always, dry with soft cloth to prevent water spots and surface rust. Hope or Bakinng Soda makes a great stainless steel sink cleaner because it is abrasive enough to scrub away light hard water deposits and stuck-on grease and food, but not so abrasive as to scratch shiny stainless steel fixtures like faucets. Try cleaning your sink with a paste of baking soda and water. You can then rinse the sink with vinegar, which will bubble and fizz. Vinegar naturally disinfects while helping remove hard water stains from your stainless steel sink. Once your sink is clean and dry, you can easily add an extra shine. Apply a few drops of olive oil to a lint-free cloth to buff the sink and fixture until they sparkle. Some things are best avoided: A few DONT's for Stainless Steel care...Don't let soap cleansers, sponges, towels or rags dry on the sink's surface. They can dull the surface beneath them as well as harbor bacteria or other unwanted items. Rinse regularly to keep the chlorides found in most cleansers from affecting the natural luster of stainless. No steel wool pads should ever be used on stainless steel sinks. The iron particles that are left behind can lead to rust and corrosion. For hard-to- clean projects, try a ScotchBrite type scouring pad when the job at hand requires a little extra effort, again in the direction of the grain. Avoid leaving steel and cast iron cookware in your sink for extended periods of time. Iron plus moisture on top of stainless can lead to surface rust and staining. Rubber dish mats, wet sponges and cleaning pads are a no-no for a lengthy stay in your sink. Since they trap water, discoloration and staining can result. Just as you don't use your cutting board to clean the dishes, don't use your sink as a cutting board. Knives and other sharp kitchen instruments will naturally damage the surface of your sink.

Worked great on my old stainless steel kitchen sink, but does not do very well at removing old stains on our porcelain kitchen sink.

This stainless steel sink cleaner is amazing! My sinks are pretty old and after using this they look like brand new very shiny and it is waterproof I used it a week ago and they still look as beautiful as ever so if anyone is on the fence of purchasing this you must buy it your sinks will look like brand new!

It didn’t clean what prior tenants used that messed up sink but it did clean a lot of the other blemishes and made the snick very very clean and shiny-I would recommend!!
