VViVID XPO Matte Metallic Navy Blue Vinyl Car Wrap Film Roll (1ft x 5ft)

I bought this to add some color to my tools in the garage. I got a magnetic screwdriver holder and hex bit holder for Christmas. I didn't have a good place to stick the magnets, so I bought a board and two steel bars at the hardware store. I thought it would be cool to paint the bars blue, so I cleaned them, used primer, and painted them with the right kind of paint. I did everything right, but the paint would not hold. I could rub it off with my thumb. So I stripped the paint and I was just going to hang them up bare. I have no idea why, but for some reason vinyl wrap popped into my head a couple of days later. Why not, it's cheap enough to try. After checking reviews and prices, I found the VViVID XPO Matte Metallic Navy Blue Vinyl Car Wrap in a small enough size for my purposes. It came out great. I just worked it around the steel bars and ran a heat gun all around to tighten up the back and corners. I'm glad the paint idea failed, because the wrap looks much better. Now I have some wrapped steel bars on the wall to hold magnetic tools and stuff. If you're a sports fan, you could do something similar in your team colors to brighten up the garage.

This item was properly shipped and on time. As I had never used this type of material before it is difficult to say how it compares to similar products. I installed this material on a helmet and given the curvature of the helmet I'd say it laid out pretty well and the more I did the better I got with it. That being said my only suggestion would be there should be a sheet that should be shipped with this item with locations for videos for instruction and or written instructions for installation tips.

I absolutely love the quality of Vvivid vinyl. This is my 3rd type of vinyl to purchase from them and the quality has been excellent with every purchase. (Also purchased vvivid+ glossy black and glow in the dark vinyl previously) Adhesive works perfectly, weeding is the best I’ve encountered by far, and shipment has always been ahead of schedule. Im excited to sample all of what they offer. Next up: cast vinyl to wrap my car, I’ll post an update later!

Used this to wrap my grom good value I bought 2 1/5 ft rolls and was more than enough to do what I wanted and it was cheaper to buy the smaller rolls. Looks great and it looks exactly like paint with a little bit of flake in it to add just a subtle hint sparkle/shine

Not as advertised. Advertised as Metallic Navy Blue, what I got was non-metallic and not navy blue. It quite literally is matte royal blue.

I'd agree with everyone else that this is not metallic or navy. This is more of a satin royal blue color. Mine looks like the pics others posted as well and I've attached mine as well. Might still be able to use it, but color will be different than most expect to get I think.
