Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp

Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp is a great fun game! We got it for monthly allowance, and it was a great choice! It took a day or two to complete, but it was a great game, we played it on our PS3, And it worked perfectly! So we recommend for you to buy it! its worth it, after it, you should play Scooby-Doo! First Frights, On PS2 or PS3!

Kids loved this game!

I have most - if not all - of the Scooby games for the PS2. I enjoyed First Frights, and was looking forward to Spooky Swamp when I found out about it. For the most part, I'm enjoying the game, but I have a few MINOR issues with it.1. The save feature is strange. You can save pretty much anywhere, but when you start the game back up, you start back at the clubhouse. Getting to where you saved, means going through all the areas you already cleared. For the most part, they're still cleared, but you have to go all the way through them again. On the plus side, many of the Scooby Snacks are available again.2. Collecting Scooby Snacks is easy, but almost useless. You can use them to buy costumes, but unlike First Frights, the costumes don't seem to be anything but decoration.3. The double jump is gone. Just a minor annoyance, but I find myself trying it all the time by reflex.4. Ground pounding is far more difficult than it used to be. Its needed in a couple parts of the game, and it's harder to activate than it used to be.

I haven't personally played this game. I bought this game for my 91 year old mother. She's been a gamer since the original Zelda. This is her second Scooby game. Having finished this game twice now, she asked me just last night if there are any more games in the series. So, it looks like I have some shopping to do. LOL. I'm so glad to find a game that she really enjoys. And I believe it helps keeps her young.

Stuck in the 1st area with limited movement and dead ends each way you go, this is a Kid's game ? Colorful but frustrating, I will watch a video and try it again. OOOHHHHH, saw it, know where to go. I must be OLD to have to see videos of PS2 games to continue enjoying them. I'm back again and got further, a lot of back tracking because you always start in the same place. I can change characters now so I'll keep it and continue until it pisses me off like most games do !

I bought this for my disabled son who is a die hard Scooby Doo fan. A nice aspect is you don't "lose", he has a good time and when his character falls off the screen or something it just reappears.

family friendly, fun game, great graphics , don't mind at all being behind the times with a ps2 as the ps4 is about to be unveiled, saves so much money this way! Great value!
