I love the X Series. The quest mode makes it feel like a real game compared to the digi20s simplified button mash battle system. Clearing the quest mode unlocks better evolution paths. Cryo is a wonderful improvement that allows you to suspend play without worry of care mistakes. You can raise 3 digimon with the backup system. The x series really seems to pack the most fun and replay value into a single digivice. There are some issues with the XC and XD having the roster swapped.

Absolutely love it! Training and fighting is way easier than the original 1997 digimon. 5 stars all the way.

This is my second digivice X purchase but this time it's a gift. The gameplay is pretty fun and a neat feature that the X has over the regular digivices is that #1 you can put your digimon in a cryogenic mode (perfect for a busy schedule). This alone is a huge upgrade because it helps avoid neglect since care mistakes play a factor in the evolution. If the battery dies, have no fear, it automatically saves your digimon's data until the battery is replaced. 10/10 reccommend!!
