I'm happy with these binoculars for the price paid. They have good optical quality and are rugged, feeling solid in the hands. There are only slight purple fringing at the edges of the image in strong backlight.I didn't have issues with colimation. The two images overlap properly across the zoom range. I believe the larger and heavier ones are more prone to having this issue.Weight is decent, easy to carry around. Image is clear even at 30X zoom, just need to adjust right eyepiece focus sometimes as it is very sensitive to focus changes at max zoom. At 30X, I was even able to read text on a billboard on the highway two miles away.These are decent for astronomy as.well. The moon appears nice and clear as shown in the attached photo. Venus is a small disc like a dime. Best to buy a tripod adapter if used for astronomy.I recommend these binoculars if looking for a light weight zoom function with BAK4 prisms at a great price. They should be good for most uses including astronomy and hiking.[addendum]I'm finding these to be great for astronomy. I use them in conjunction with my telescope for quick views of celestial objects. Besides seeing great detail on the moon, I was also able to see jupiter with its four moons lined up on a diagonal and make out saturn and the gap between the planet and its rings. Basically I could see something almost 900 million miles away with these binoculars!I recommend getting the optional barska tripod adapter for it, it's solid metal body and well worth it.

The quality of the lenses provide cristal clear view even in low light conditions the image is clear I totally recommend this binoculars.

I just received the product and checked it.It has double vision.I tried to calibrate it but failed.It seems that the manufacturer didnt calibrate it.

Product delivers everything it says it will. You can find cheaper variable zoom binoculars but not with BAK4 optics. Materials and visual quality are excellent.

Got these for general use, bird watching while trail walking and eyeballing my targets while shooting at the range. Working great!

For the price they were good.
