Got three different colors for a California trip. Only washed once before leaving and found they were super soft, lightweight, tight to pack, warm, repealed sand, absorbent, and cute. And I'm not being paid for this LOL I just really like these towels. used to lay on a beach until I discovered I was getting wet, stood up, towel dried quick and sand was gone! Used as a blanket and coverup several times as well. And the price was great! The colors are less vibrant as the pictures though. For example the aquamarine towel is the one pictured. still zero complaints, ordering more!

The folded towel on the bottom is after washing and drying. The top one is the way they came as packaged. So obviously it held up well without shrinkage or much wrinkling. Here's a the story...my husband and I were on vacation to Mexico, and this type of towel is what was in our condo as bath towels. First time we haven't used a terricloth towel to dry from the shower and they were AMAZING! Like they actually dry your body better than any regular bathtowel! So I ordered while in Mexico, returned home and decided to wash one to compare to original. They are FANTASTIC! Very absorbent, but I only gave 4 stars there because the ones in Mexico were a bit thicker and a bit more absorbent than these...but for the price? And they take up so much less room in the washer / dryer than regular terricloth bath towels! I'm going to order some for my kitchen, my bathroom hand towels, and more for the shower and pool! There are going to cut my laundry in HALF!

Bought 4 of these towels in different colors. They are huge, but roll up really small. These are not meant to be the plush, thick towels. They absorb well, dry quickly, and take up very little space. Great for lake, beach, hot tub. (I have not taken them to the beach, so I'm not sure how they do in the sand.)

Got a set of these for a trip out of town involving beaches. Loved them. Thin but dries very well and quickly. Thin means not heavy lugging around everywhere. It also means that for its absorbancy, you're not just carrying around a heavy cloth item just because you dried out a lot with it. Thought might be too thin but that was no issue at all! I highly recommend these!

I am scratching my head at how so many people could love this towel / blanket / thing. I figured I would try it. It isn't soft. The tassels / fringe doesn't make sense to me in a towel. Why would it be useful in any way?It has a few things going for it: It is lightweight, compact, and it can be used for many things like a wrap, a shawl, etc.I would not recommend it over a nice plush terry cotton towel. Unless you are traveling and need to bring your own towel / blanket / thing and you are limited on space. I can't imagine ever being in a situation like that.If I received this as a gift, I would have thought it was a shawl because of the fringes. Someone would have had to tell me it was a towel

Loved the quality and was light weight and super absorbent.

The color and texture of the fabric was wonderful. I will be purchasing this product again in the near future for gifts.
