This is a terrific little collar for reducing nuisance barking. Be aware that no collar can take the place of training GOOD behavior to replace the nuisance behavior. Also, please don't leave this on your dog while you aren't around. This collar is quite reliable but there's always a chance of accidents. I used to use this collar to deter rescues from unreasonable barking in a crate, by simply laying the collar ON the crate. The beep and vibrate helped distract them and then I'd give them a cookie for being quiet. :) But again, never never never use this on a pet that's unsupervised. This collar provides multiple modes to customize a combination of sensitivity (what triggers the correction), and type of correction. All corrections vibrate the collar. Then you can pick beep only or a beep plus ine of several shock stimulation levels. This is a simpler model so it doesn't do the gradually increasing shock. It will instantly hit your pet with whatever you set it at. So it's best to start with a beep only or lowest shock, then quietly praise the dog for stopping the noise when they react. Also be aware that the shock is deeply aversive and sensitive dogs may associate the shock with something environmental rather than their own behavior. Ie, if they were barking at a dude with a hat, they may then think "dudes with hats are bad." Again, you can minimize this by going with the lowest setting first and REWARDING the desired behavior. I've had one of these for many years, and that one still works like new. I just got another and it's identically reliable and functional. The only thing I miss with this basic bark collar is a "vibrate only" mode. I accidentally trained my Border Collie to be scared of the fire alarm low battery beep, but that wasn't difficult to untrain tbh. 😂

Works. But alittle confusing directions. Also the prongs are on one side and I feel they should be centered(like other E-collars) because sometimes if my dog lays down or rubs against something it will flip the collar and it won’t make contact with her then she barks uncontrollably and it defeats the point of it. But So far she has learned and barking has definitely gotten better. Also shipping got delayed multiple times. But overall not the worst product actually pretty decent for the money.

Worked excellent for about 2 weeks my dog is a coonhound and he barks at the wind, squirrels, the neighbors cat, you name it he’s gonna bark at it. It got so bad the neighbors called the pound on him and they said we got to do something about his barking. Decided I’d try this; it worked great for the first couple weeks and it actually was shocking him I know because it got me when I was trying to put it on him it is very sensitive well at least at first. 2 Weeks go by and I wake up in the night to him barking and I think great time to charge the collar, so crawl outta bed to go get it bring it in charge it up come morning it’s fully charged by the three bars on the lcd screen(or so I thought). Made sure to turn it on like I always did and the green light was flashing indicating it was working correctly. Put it on him and soon as I rounded the corner of the house he got to barking and to my surprise the collar didn’t beep to hush him up I thought hmm guess I didn’t turn it on. Well I did the collar stopped working all together. I thought maybe a couple hours wasn’t long enough to fully charge so I brought it in and charged it all day and all night (24 hours) the next day I put it on him and this time it seemed to be functioning as normal. Fast forward to today he got to barking and wouldn’t hush went to check on the collar it was dead so now 24 hour charge lasts about a day which when it was new a full charge lasted a week! If you have an inside dog this may hold up better but for my dog this isn’t the best he stays outside all the time and I guess the collar just isn’t durable to handle the outdoors.

Great collar for my noisy dog definitely a great solution to keep him quiet. I like how you can adjust the shock level because you can decide if you really want your dog to stuffer or just give them a little shock. The color is it is great super stylish for my pup. My dog has been out in the rain with it and still works perfectly fine so it definitely is waterproof.

I only used a low setting shock for about a week then moved it to vibrate only. My dog is a big barker, he barks at literally everything and to save my sanity after years of hearing it I got this. I’ve bought two of these, the first one my dog got off and chewed up, the second one has held up over the last year and held a good charge but…. Its plastic is starting to peel and I’m not sure how much longer it will work for.

I like that you can change the strength of the shock and the sensitivity to sound on it. I also like that it doesn't go straight to the shock, it has a sound warning as well as a vibration warning before giving a little zap. I also appreciate that it was a safety feature for the dog that if they keep barking for a certain length of time, it goes into protection mode so the dog can bark to guard the house or protect itself against other animals of need be. Instructions were clear for the most part, there were a couple of questions I had while setting it up, but was able to figure it out pretty easily. Easily fit it to my dog, hasn't left any rub marks or anything like that so I'm assuming it's not causing her discomfort at the very least. It's shocked her once the first time she wore it, and she hasn't fussed with it on outside since.

What an absolute life saver! This collar was our last ditch effort to get our pup to quit barking at night. She would bark non-stop after we laid down for the night, and we felt like there was nothing we could do to stop it. We tried everything. The first day we used this collar she stopped barking and ever since we have had no issues whatsoever. It's super easy to use with only 2 buttons. The charging is kind of a pain because it only takes the specific cord it comes with. It would be much easier with standard YSB-C. Other than that it works great.
