This is a simple tool and is easy to use. It effectively opens shipping boxes. The blades are well hidden and protected to prevent accidental contact to them during use. Unlike a box cutter, this tool is safe to use. The price is good too. Have used this product on many Amazon shipments since I got it. It works well with boxes that are taped but doesn't work on flimsy paper or plastic shipping packages. Recommend the product.

I assemble furniture, so I’m always opening boxes. There are other brands that work far better than this one and are more adorable. The first one I use broke when I was trying to break one of these plastic ties. I had to go through cardboard like three times with the thicker boxes, but I normally don’t have to do that with other brands. So for the price point cause I bought a pack of 50 will it work? I hope so. I’m very unimpressed with the first use, but hopefully if I’m just opening boxes with tape it’ll be suitable. But the bigger thicker boxes that come from Wayfair or Amazon this did not farewell. It was actually more work than just using a regular box cutter. With thinner items maybe it was fine. I highly recommend just spending more on another brand.

Plastic not the strongest. Breaks pretty easily depending on you use. Not too good on heavy cardboard. Overall works good.

This box cutter is an absolute must in our household from now on. Our shopping is pretty much boxes, boxes and more boxes. No more accidentally cutting my fingers with scissors or trashing a good steak knife! Even though these look disposable, they come in a bunch and stay sharp for quite a while. Best part is I will never damage contents of a box again, since these have protective edges. I even managed to cut cat litter boxes with it, and those are pretty tough. Such a simple yet genius product!

The so called "Safety" part of every one of these knifes has broken off with even the sligest usage. I was opening a box and the yellow safety tip broke off then the exposed blade cut through my pants, leaving a one inch gouge in my leg.Amazon should imeaditly pull this product, as it can cause great harm.Do Not buy this product others are availabile that are safe just not this one explicitly.

I had an idea to use this box cutter to cut off the net wrap on our hay bales. Worked amazing. I love this product. Last year used it all during winter and never needed a new blade. 10/10 recommend.
