It’s a bit tricky but worth it. Great for rentals if you don’t want your pictures taken by strangers.

This is a very simple method to secure artwork to the wall.

I wanted to mount a series of frames throughout the house, some of which were in places where they could cause damage if they fell, so I needed more secure mounting hardware. I stumbled upon this kit and it is exactly what I needed. The kit includes almost everything you need (screws, plates anchors and t bar tool). The instructions are very easy to follow. The toughest part is screwing in the bottom T-screw as your placement needs to be fairly accurate, or the bottom will not connect to the wall correctly. To solve this problem, I bought the Accu Mount T-Screw Companion tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FF6R4NZ). It hooks right into the metal plate you attach to the bottom of the frame and leaves a dot on the wall so you know exactly where to drill the T-screw hole. Breezed through the installation with it. Without this tool, this would have been a very frustrating and long process. They should include something similar with the kit. All in all, I'm very happy and 100% recommend, IF you buy the companion tool.

While the product description tells me that there are "100 sets", The box contains about 12 bags and will have to be sorted out into sets. I ordered for 10 technicians so each one would have 10 sets. I now have to cut open each blister pack and use 100 snack bags and count every screw, hanger, etc., and place them into the snack bags. If I would cut every bag just to take out one set to use, by the time I need another set, all the screws will probably be rolling around in the bottom of the box.

For efficiently using security mount hardware, the bottom plates need to have bumpers to gently mark the walls so that you k ow where to place the t-screws. This set of 100 had nothing but flat plates. This will make installation very complicated for a novice and it will, at least, double your installation time if you're a professional.

The tabs that attach to the wall won't actually fit into the holes of the picture side brackets when they are mounted to the frame. Completely useless. At least for the batch that I have. Will be returning.
