Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Brown Rice Flour, 24 Oz (Pack of 2)

This is my go to flour for gluten free baking from scratch. I use this for bread and cakes. I most often use recipes form a Kindle book "Get Real Gluten Free Baking:. Though I also use one to one flour if I'm converting a standard recipe to gluten free. Bob's Red Mill is always consistent and fresh. It also freezes well and still makes great bread.

I have enjoyed this rice flour each time I've ordered it. It is a great product, or I wouldn't keep reordering it. However, this last time I reordered it, I was shipped a 25 lb bag of unbleached all purpose flour, instead of the brown rice flour I "reorder". This was not a mistake on my part. I always just press the reorder button. Someone accidentally sent the wrong item, but for nearly $70, that an expensive mistake! Isn't there any way I can receive the brown rice flour I ordered? Is there a contact number, an email for human error issues, anything? I'm now stuck with a 25 lb bag of flour I can't even use because 1.) my daughter is gluten free, and 2.) there is no way to return a "non returnable item" even when it wasn't what I ordered. Buyer beware, when human mistakes happen, and they happen all the time, there needs to be at least some way of fixing the mistake. This is an easy mistake to fix, that I shouldn't have to pay for!

Bob's is a widely recognized brand name. My first order was without a hitch. I ordered the standard 4 of the 24oz packs of brown rice flower. I just opened the second order and found 2, not 4, of the 24oz packs. I was shorted 2.I use the brown rice flour for homemade dog biscuits, so there wasn't a need to open the second box until I was ready to mix up another batch of biscuit dough. Beware and open everything from Amazon to make sure that you are getting the volume or number of packages that you have ordered. I was too complacent.

Great quality and flavor. I've been buying Bob's Red Mill products for years and I've never been disappointed. On a side note, I really love the super easy to close zipper on the bags they're using now.

I've ordered the 25lb brown rice flour 4 times, and it's normally great. However, this most recent time the bag arrived full of holes in the top, with flour spilling into the box it was shipped in. I'm a small business owner and I cannot use a product that arrives open and spilling. It is disappointing that there is no exchange or refund allowed - not only do I not have the flour that I need, but I paid $64 for nothing.

Have used Bob’s Red Mills products for a long time and have always been pleased.

I wish it provided you recipes to make bread with it. I only make pancakes with it because I found a recipe for making pancakes.
