The shipping took longer than I had hoped. It’s only going to be used for decoration, so I’m not worried about it being heat resistant. Right size (small) for my needs. It was already chipping in spots all over, so it isn’t smoothly black like shown in photos. It’s okay for what I’m using it for..

Hold standard fireplace logs perfectly as well as prefab fake logs. Hard to go wrong with cast iron. Very sturdy and great price. Recommend

Makes starting a fire so much easier

Looks solid, haven't put it to the test yet.

It's drooping after about 10 uses in my wood fire oven. Seems to be losing structural integrity.

Just measure your area as this was alittle small for me. Good quality though.

It's solid, well made and functional.

We have a small prefab fireplace in our cottage and it can only use smaller logs than one would use in a full size natural fireplace, so the grate needs to be smaller. This is perfect for what we need. The only problem is that small kindling tends to fall through the bars, making it well, not helpful. Thinking about adding a small piece of screening (maybe a spare piece of spark guard screening, due to the heat on it). Really good quality plus an affordable price. Even if it only lasted a few years, buying a new one won't be hard to take. Five cross bars instead of four would help hold kindling.
