Gourmet Basics by Mikasa Broadway 16-Piece Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Assorted

I love these dishes and have had mine for more than 5 years. They are not all the same exact color and are not meant to be. Each one is a slightly different, making it more beautiful than the last. They are stoneware and will chip, like every other stoneware dish out there. The chipping will be worse if they aren't handled with care. This is the same for every stoneware dish everywhere. They are microwave safe, but will weaken with repeated microwave use. All glass type dishes do, even the ones that claim to be unbreakable. If you love them, do what I did. Buy an extra set to keep stored away in case of chipping or breakage. It is much less expensive than replacing each dish separately and you are guaranteed to have the same dishes' shape, shade and size as the ones you currently use.

These are definitely more teal grey... they are the exact color I was wanting. They're just beautiful! So glad I found these. Had I not read the comments and noticed the trend of folks saying the color wasn't really grey, I probably wouldn't have purchased these. The teal grey w/ brown trim is lovely!!! I'm going to buy a second set so I have plenty for guests.

I am beyond disappointed!!! I have had Mikasa products for years. I know them to be classy and long lasting. These dishes were a gift for Christmas and I was so excited to get a Mikasa product that is dishwasher and microwave sage, but these dishes didn't last a month before chipping. Not acceptable! Stand behind the name and product. Replace the chip dishes! So disappointed! :(

I had purchased multiple pieces and needed replacement for a few that got chipped or broken. To order a few pieces is more expensive than just getting Setting for 4.

On the screen these looked more green....they are definitely blue. Colors vary from plate to plate which is funky but ok for me, but if looking for 100% perfect matches don’t get these.

Box was labeled “heavy” but not “fragile” and the outer box was visibly damaged so I knew before I even opened it that they were probably broken. Heard the pieces rattling around and didn’t even open the inner boxes. Such a waste. Will return.

These dishes are beautiful. They are well made and consistent in color and design. The bowls are a good size. The only downside is the coffe cups which are not quite as thick as I would prefer. They are pretty but coffeee gets cold quickly. I bought three sets and I am overall pleased overall with the quality.

I bought this set at Kohl's four years ago, and a few pieces had broken or been chipped, so I went online to see if I could find replacements. This set I bought from Amazon came quickly, but the color is off from the original set I purchased. The originals were dark gray. The replacement set is a bluer gray and really stand out from the originals. I have a feeling that the sets sold at Amazon are probably rejects from the manufacturer. But I will use them anyway.

arrived & almost half the pieces were broken ~ I was very disappointed as was looking forward to receiving it....
