I am so excited to gift this to a family friend’s kid who loves science and watching a regular hourglass I have in my office. The magnetism is a cool feature. It is well made with glass and a magnet in the black base. I didn’t time it but it did take the sand some time to all flow to the bottom, so I think the description seems fairly accurate at 60 seconds. It’s not going to be done in only 20 seconds, as I saw some cheaper options that only lasted that long.

The magnet broke the glass..it lasted two days. needs to be better quality thicker glass. Bought it for 25 and now it's 41 bucks..totally not worth it. Plus some poor little Chinese kid probably made it..truth..💯
