Great Flashlights
Brought these cause you can never have too many flashlights as they tend to disappear in a house. They are lightweight, easy to use, durable, and the lights works great to see. I haven't had any problems with the battery life. Great value for a 5-pack.

Great little Flashlights
These little flashlights are great. They have a powerful beam that can be easily adjusted with one hand. The price (just over $30.00 for five) was surprisingly low for what you get. They fit in the glove compartments of all three of the cars in our household without a problem. I highly recommend them.

The manufactures recommend using the 18650 or high end AAA batteries
Fairly well made, not high end. I do not believe the 1500 Lumens is correct, with that being said they are very bright. And that is just using regular AAA batteries. They came with the AAA holder and also the plastic tube for using one 18650 battery. Those seem to last longer and makes the light brighter. That gives you the option. The price is more then fair compared to the quality and durability that you find in those .99 to 10.99 flashlights you find at the hardware stores and they seem to last longer. Note: I've use another one of these about every other day for two years. When the batteries start to become weak, it tends to change through its setting on its own. That is using cheep AAA batteries. The manufactures recommend using the 18650 or high end AAA batteries. A problem I have had is the circuit board with the LED has come loose a couple of times. The fix was quick and easy, I take a pencil, lay it across the front lens assembly and holding the flashlight body twist it off. Under that is the LED circuit board assembly, it has two dimples in it for using a spanner tool, I just use the tips of needle nose pliers. Tips into the dimples and twist clockwise. Reassemble.

Strobe Light Effect?
The media could not be loaded. I have several of these handy torches and found this one that has three brightness/power levels to have a strobe light effect on rotating fans. Trimmed my index fingernail a couple nights back. I was outside reading the numbers off my weather instruments using one of these 18650 lights. Usually I use a small single AAA light that lives in the weather box but on this occasion I happened to have the larger light for some other reason. This flashlight has five operational modes: Full Bright, Less Bright, Least Bright, Blink-Blink-Blink..., and S-O-S. I was reading the Wet Bulb Thermometer which sits in the air stream from a repurposed computer muffin fan when I noted the fan was rotating slowly, as if coasting down from a power outage. Klutzy wiring and all that... I checked the terminals and the 12v plug--all OK, and noted the fan--coasting I thought--had not yet stopped so I went to touch the slowly rotating blade and received quite a surprise. Only took a few seconds and a try with the AAA powered torch to suss out the puzzle. The 18650 light apparently does not "dim" the LED for intensity control but rather uses some sort of pulsing. A variation on the Blink and S.O.S modes I suppose. Fascinating! And somewhat hazardous too.

Powerful Light
These are the best flashlights with a powerful light and are compact plus lightweight. I bought some for my home and cars. Then I bought more to give our kids to keep in each of their cars. We take them camping & traveling using them frequently. They are the only flashlight we grab at home. I need a couple more when the 1 at home is misplaced and for my nightstand and emergencies.I won't buy any other flashlight, no more big heavy D batteries flashlights for me!

Great set of lights
I did a lot of research and chose these. They are perfect for around the house and in the car. The Lumen rating is probably off since they don't site a standard or a distance. I still love them and they are bright. The complaints about the zoom focus being square is from people unfamiliar with LED lights. The chips are square so if you focus tight you will see the LED chip. Note, these are private labeled under many names so thank you China. Quality will always be hit or miss with any Chinese made product.

The best junk "tactical" torch on Amazon
I bought many of these same torches under various brand names and I returned all of them as they were complete junk. These are junk, too, but the price is right and they are actually better than the other junk I have returned. What makes these better than all the other "brands" I returned is that the slide on the head for the zoom lens is tight enough to not slide up and down on it's own, yet loose enough for one-handed operation. They are not really bright, but they are sufficient for everyday, practical use.One thing I noted on all 5 of these lights is that the lenses are cam every dirty on all of them and they are dirty on the inside as well as on they inside of the lens. They must have filthy conditions in the factory where they assemble these (and paying criminally low wages and even underage labor...I'd bet money on both). In fact, one had such a dirty lens that I though the glass was chipped. But this i snot a huge problem since the very top of the light right under the lens just screws on and off easily so you can clean the lens from on the inside.I cannot tell you how long they will last as I have only been using one of them for a week (but tested them all). I'm sure the drivers on these will burn out at some point. They usually do at some point. The nice thing about these lights is that they take 18650 batteries (sleeve included to take up the slack) and also can fit 21700 (and 20700 of you still have some of those dinosaurs around) without the need for a sleeve. Is this a "tactical" torch? Bro? Are you serious? No, it's not. But I'm not delusional enough to think you can get even a half decent tac torch for this price. If you want a half decent, budget priced tactical torch, look into the Convory brand.I'm giving it a 3/5 stars because junk does not deserve any more than that even if it works. But 3 is a pretty good rating for these junk lights. If you're looking for the best torch in this price point, this is the one to get. At least mine seem OK. No telling what the factory pumps out day after day. If I bought another batch they will probably be unusable and would need to be returned, no doubt.
