It’s super good after a little airing out
I love this dirt I usually buy three at a time. I do let it sit a few days and it taste so good. I literally at my last bag in like a week so good and crunchy. And it actually doesn’t make me constipated , it actually helps me to have a movement and I suffer with constipation on my own. It doesn’t even necessarily need to be cooked but if you want extra extra crunchy you could but definitely just open the big slightly and let is sit will do it justice and you won’t be able to put it down. I use to love the super small pieces but I like the middle size pieces that you can chew and fill your whole mouth. It satisfy the craving perfectly. This the only clay dirt I order, the shipping fee is a little an expensive but it’s worth it to me cause I love it. That’s why I usually buy three at a time , I’ve thought about the boulders but just haven’t ordered that size yet. I do recommend if you are a true clay dirt eatier.

Don't believe all the comments.
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited about getting this product because of the comments everyone was saying that it tasted great, it was an awesome product. So when I received mine a week after I ordered it. I decided to try it out as you can see in the video towards the end of the video when I'm holding the bigger piece there's a lot of shine to it that's glass there was one other person in the comments that had mentioned glass being in the chalk and when I got mine that's the 1st thing I checked for and sure enough there was glass in it. So this is not edible I wouldn't advise anyone to eat it. I did taste mine it did not taste great it had a very chemical taste to it, it wasn't that earthy at all. As soon as you bite into it,it melts very quickly it has is a very creamy consistency to it but it does not taste good at all. I will not be purchasing this product again.

BELIEVE the reviews! But shipping..
So I used to buy another brand but found it lacked crunch. I switched to this brand a year ago and never turned back...1. You can't eat it straight from the bag. You should take it out the bag and let it air out. ( brown paper bag, a small box) I leave mine until the next day.2. Don't place it next to something with a scent unless that's what you want. I placed mine on the bar next to an air freshener... bad choice. It will absorb whatever it's near. (I get a ziploc bag full of top soil or black dirt and place it opened in the box to give it more dirt taste)This is also why alot of people have varying descriptions of taste. They don't let it air out, they place it in a bad location.3. I have never ever ever seen glass in mine. EVER... so idk about the reviewer who made that statement.4. Look at the video reviews. crunchy until the end. NOT gritty. Not gummy. Not grainy. Imagine the texture of one of those big vitamin pills.... crunchy not gummy but it tastes like earth rain!I took one star away because of the price of shipping and shipping time. I ordered on the 15th and 10 days later I still don't have my package. What exactly did I pay $10 of shipping for if it takes this long?

Give it a chance
I’ve been eating clay dirt from Alabama since I was little. I love the earthy flavor of it. I decided to try grandma’s white dirt because I ran out of the bag from Alabama, and now live in Texas where this clay is not available in any stores I’ve been in. When it first arrived, I was highly disappointed at the taste. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. You HAVE to let this dirt air out to get that sweet earth flavor. I put a couple chunks of it in a sandwich bag and left the bag open on my kitchen table. The longer it airs out, the better it tastes. It took about a week for it to get the way I like it, and I love it. Side note: remember that clay absorbs whatever is around it. If you have it sitting next to perfume, it’s going to literally taste like perfume. If you leave it next to deodorant, it’s going to taste like that. Air it out somewhere in a general area by itself. I’ve also found that it tastes better if you crush it up almost like powder and put a little in your mouth at a time. It tastes chalky if you eat big bites. I’ve seen some reviews that said they threw it out because of how it tasted when they first got it. Air it out for a week or two before you decide whether or not you like it.

Warning
Update:Ok so I know that I was one of the main praisers of this product, but not any more. I discovered that Georgia White Clay absorbs iron, it also can cause constipation. I suffer from anemia, which is low iron incase you don't know, and did eat this clay. I know that it can be difficult to live with pica and the cravings can be crazy, but there are better, safer and tastier clays out there. I have wrote a review on some others that I've tried, just don't lose hope. Talk to your healthcare provider it will be ok. I will not remove my previous post because you can eat whatever you want to and if you still want to eat it well that is between you and your gut. I will say that after I fully stopped eating this clay, I have been feeling great. I just want you to know, what you do with this knowledge is up to you. Have a wonderful day and this will be my final review on any clay.Do not eat this clay when you first get it. Fresh out of the package it's not good with a bad taste. Put it into a paper bag or just open the package and let it air out for a week. It will still stick to your teeth but after airing out for a bit it gets a nice earthy taste.Third time getting it and this time some of the pieces already had a nice earthy taste. I still aired it out for a week. This batch had a very mild and pleasant gritty taste. Will probably get it a fourth time. So got it again and this batch was perfect. It had a delicious earthy taste and a nice crunch that wasn't too hard. It didn't stick to my teeth too bad either. This clay has also been helping my digestion a lot. I will be getting this again. Update: have you tried baking this clay; put it in the oven on 350° and bake it for 10-20 minutes. I bake it for 10 minutes and let it cool off over night in a paper bag. This gives it a really good earth taste and a great crunch.
