Great headlamp. 2 levels of brightness for each of the leds (4 total). Good brightness to running on streets and sidewalks in the dark. You might want more for trails. Batteries seem to be a big temperature dependent. The Pro version uses a different (more expensive) battery that is supposed to be better in the cold.

So comes in handy. Where as a regular flashlight you need to use your hands, this headlamp leaves you hands free. Needed that a few times when looking under the bed for boots or shoes. And with the different settings on it, makes it easier to see where your looking.

it's not made in china, so i'm not supporting slave labor or their expansionism, so that's a plus, and it works fine. i'm not wowed by it or anything, so it gets 4 stars

It flickers for about 5 seconds when I first turn it on but then it works perfectly for the rest of the time its on.

I have owned a number of princeton tech headlamps over the years. They are bright, have decent battery life, are comfortable, not bulky, and reliable. This model has been no exception. Headlamps are a great tool and this is a good brand. I will continue to buy them.

I ordered this headlamp and was super-excited when it arrived. I've had great success with Princeton Tec headlamps in the past. This one has a great design and is extremely bright. Unfortunately, it failed to turn on the very next day. I figured a got a bad one, it happens. I requested a replacement, which arrived a few days later. Back in business. BUT... less than 6 weeks later the replacement lamp is behaving the exact same way. Brand new batteries, just no sign of life. It's great when it works, but after the second one in two months, I just have no faith in this product and will have to keep hunting.

Had a Princeton headlamp for many years. Ended up dropping it and breaking the plastic headband guide. So happy I stayed with same brand. This light is much brighter then my last one. Great product!

Can't ask for anything else, works great and has lots of beam options to fit multiple uses, and is affordable.
