Is there enough of a bevel on these to stop ink from smudging/bleeding underneath? Thanks!

Not too sure, they lay flat to drawing board with paper, however, i use them mostly for measuring, when inking i have never used ruler, i use triangles, the metal is strong and rigid, i would use triangles that can easily be cleaned of any ink, i would think you risk the ink on the scale and blocking numbering then if you had to clean ink, you may remove the numbering too
