I have probably had mine 2+ years now & it is still just as soft, warm, & cozy as it was the very first day it arrived! That's amazing considering I probably wash my bedding more than any other human in existence! Not only is the quality EXCELLENT, but it's also the PERFECT weight.. not too heavy, not too light. I love in the Midwest where the weather is bipolar & I'm able to use it all year long. On the occasions I've had to pull out my old ones while this one is being washed, I honestly can't stand it! It literally put all of my other comforters to shame including the $300+ one I bought from a bougie dept store which was a similar material only after 1 or 2 washes the expensive one became beyond scratchy & rough to the point it's itchy and uncomfortable. I will stick to my under $50 bargain blanket from now on, I'd buy 1 in every color if I could! From the softness of the material, to the durability, to the color not fading, to the softness that's survived approx. 799 washes, to the way it fits my extra extra deep pocket queen bed and my 6'2 boyfriend PERFECTLY, right down to the price, I seriously cannot RAVE anymore about how much I LOVE my comforter! If you're weighing your options for days like I was b4 I bought it.. look no farther! This is the ONE you've been looking for and thinking you'd never find. Thank me later :)

From my wife: very happy with this purchase. The color is not yellow at all. It is a nice off-white, perfect for winter. It compliments the teal wall and curtains really well. Fabric is very soft, not a true velvet, but does has a nice texture. Could have done without the 26 x 26 pillow covers. Overall good quality for the price.

Gorgeous and decadent feeling with excellent price! Instant upgrade to bedroom with this set. Not too heavy weight comforter allows for all year use too.

I want to start by saying this is a nice comforter. It's soft and looks like decent quality. However, the color was wildly different than it looked online (and I used two different laptops and my phone to see how much the color varied). I got the brown, and it looks a lot closer to plum in person. It's a very purple-undertoned brown. I also decided to get the king size, even though I have a queen bed, because I wanted it to go further down the sides toward the floor (which it does, and it looks nice). You also get two king-sized pillowcases as well and two euro sham pillowcases for 26x26 pillows. However, all I have is four queen-sized pillows, so to get the more lux look in the photos, I'll need to invest in some new pillows. The size of the king duvet is a little unusual as they tend to be more like 94 or 96 inches in length - this one is only 90 inches. Although that's not an issue for me because I have a loveseat in front of my bed, it might bother you if you need it to come further down your bed. It's also significantly thinner than it looks in the advertising photos - it's very lightweight for a velvet comforter. The upside of this is that we're going into spring and summer, so it'll be nice not to be too hot. But it definitely looks a little less expensive because it's not heavier or thicker. I will also probably invest in some brown throw pillows and blankets to tone down the purple in this, but if you have a lot of purple in your bedroom or you like browns with that kind of undertone - the "brown" would be up your alley.

Pretty and comfortable I'm not sure how much " velvet " it actually is but it is incredibly soft and my vibe . It's a wee bit flat now but it's been quite some time since I bought it and most bedding does unfortunately it isn't a topper so I'd just have to replace the blanket instead of getting a new insert . But is good while it lasts .

It’s cute, but it’s thin. Yet the person I bought it for gets hot easy while sleep I guess it worked out lol. Images should show the actual thickness of it. But I guess $70 for a king size is okay I suppose

Very good quality crushed purple velvet comforter. About an inch thick and very warm. Looks stunning, very luxurious crushed velvet. Pillow cases are the same velvet. I bought purple which is lovely deep purple, like a Cadbury purple not too red. It’s got a paw-up from the cat!!

So impressed! It’s beautiful, soft and warm even though it is thin. For $40 I was behind impressed.

Colour is off, I thought I was buying a nice dark chocolate brown but it’s not. Overall it’s a nice quilt though.
