The most desirable accessory you can have for your digital camera
I have always found that cameras using proprietary batteries, the battery life is gone long before the photo ops re over. With today's high capacity data storage chips, I always run out of juice long before the image chip is full. These replacement batteries for my Olympus Pen are a perfect replacement in terms of form, fit, and function, and they hold a charge for at least a couple of weeks sitting in my camera bag so I have yet to be left high and dry in terms of available battery power. Without doing a controlled study, I would say they perform with about the same reliability and charge life as the OEM battery. I'm a happy customer.

Excellant Spare Battery
Have 2 of these batteries. They work great. I am not sure they are really 1800mAh because they do not seem to last as long as the battery that came with the camera. (subjective opinion, I do not have scientific means of testing). I purchased BLS-1 batteries from another vendor some time ago and they got very warm with continuous shooting and the battery expanded making it hard to remove from the camera. These batteries seem to be more stable and run a little cooler. Recommend if you meed spare BLS-1 batteries.

Battery got extremely hot and was about to melt!
I needed a spare battery for my Olympus E-P3 and choose the Sterlingtrek BLS-1 based on prior good experiences with Sterlingtrek products. My Canon 511 clone batteries worked as well as the OEM at 1/4 the price so I was sure this BLS-1 clone would deliver more of the same. Popped it in my Olympus charger and a couple hours later was ready to rock. I stepped out for a shoot and an hour and 30 or 40 pictures later, noticed gritty looking images on the display. The grip and battery door areas were really warm. I figured something was amiss and opened the battery door and was horrified to find the battery extremely hot, likely just short of meltdown or worse. I pried it out--it was slightly swollen--and suspect I pulled it just in time. Let the E-P3 cool down for 30 minutes, installed the OEM battery and continued shooting with a cool and well functioning camera. Sadly this lapse in Sterlingtrek quality control seems to be more than a mere fluke. I also just bought a Sterlingtrek LP-E6 for my 5D MKII and, while not suffering overheating, it doesn't hold a charge for more than a couple days. Sheesh, every manufacturer slips once in a while but two lemons in a row really raises a red flag. So this dawg is on its way back to Amazonville. I'm sure if I bought a few more I'd eventually get a good one--many reviewers certainly did--but with two strikes I decided to walk and bought an OEM battery. To add final insult to injury, I was accessed a "Restocking Fee Refund Deduction" of $2.40 after I returned the battery, albeit I explained it overheated and was defective. I assume the vender, STK, is responsible for the fee and all I can say is Sterlingtrek lost a long term customer due to poor quality control and crappy customer service (restocking fee for defective battery). I complained to Amazon and they retracted the restocking fee but, sheesh, STK needs to improve or they'll be on the skids.

Not 1800mA
I cycled this battery on my hobby charger a couple of times and the capacity was 999mA the first time and 991mA the second time. I used a discharge rate of .5 Amps so the capacity would be a little higher using the slower discharge rate that the manufacturers do. In comparison one used (I don't know how much it was used)OEM Olympus battery I have showed 999mA capacity and another 890mA. I have not tested a new OEM battery. All that I am saying is that the capacity rating of these batteries is inflated. The Olympus batteries I have are rated 1100mA. I have no idea how long these batteries will last.
