Works Great for cleaning brushes especially wax paint
This is fantastic for cleaning wax paint. Works so much better than oil thinner or linseed oil for cleaning paint. It’s a smaller container but well worth it.

Effective
This has given a new life to many of my brushes. I do not think the smell is strong. It’s like citronella. But I leave it open with brushes dangling in it for a day or two and I can’t smell it unless I stick my nose into it. I love that it’s not a harsh chemical. I did not think the bottle was too small. I keep reusing it. The sediment goes to the bottom. I would buy another.

Strong citrus odor but works great.
First, the odor:Some reviewers complain about an offensive odor. If you do not like the odor of citrus then you will find this product offensive. I do not mind the odor of citrus but will say that if you use this product in a small room it does get overwhelming but you can limit this by disposing your clean up rags right away. If you leave your rags out and leave the product open to the air the odor will overwhelm the room and eventually give you a headache.Second, the cleaning aspect of it:My daughter had oil paints dried up on her brushes and thought we would need to throw them away but this cleaner quickly removed the paint so it works great, just need to not leave any of this product stay exposed to the air around you.Third, does the container leak?:Right from the get-go taking this product out of the shipping box you will smell citrus. It came in a sealed baggie but still smelled citrus so your immediate thought is that the container is leaking. There is no glued-on seal on the bottle, it has a plastic plug inserted into the mouth and then a threaded cap to hold the plug in place. It just looks to me that when these containers are filled that not every drop gets into the bottle and some residue gets on the side of the bottle soaking the label. This odor eventually went away after I aired out the container. If you squeeze the bottle no liquid comes out so the bottle does seal. Conclusion:I would highly recommend limiting this product for cleaning and reviving old paint caked brushes or in-between cleaning of oil paints. There are other good cleaners out there for acrylics where you don't need to deal with the citrus odor if citrus offends you. I've never used a cleaner that dissolves paint so quickly of the bristles and paint handles. and it is a green cleaner to boot. For those of you wondering, the bottle is 5" high x 1-3/4" x 4" wide and it is filled to about a half inch below the top. This is still a lot of cleaner for artist brushes and will last a long time.

Works great!
Works really well. Some brushes needed to be soaked rather than rubbed but all got clean!

Toxic smell
The liquid is quite good. It does its job, cleaning paint off brushes. Though not perfectly, it still cleans. However, there’s a second downside—the smell is awful. It says it’s non-toxic, but it has such a strong, toxic smell that it hits you in the head. So, I’ll be looking for something else.

This does work
This does work, but be careful about how long you leave your brushes soaking in itI don’t think it smells bad at all, and I don’t know why some people think it has such a strong smell.I had a small issue and the seller went above and beyond.

It smells like fresh lemons and soap!
I did not know that such a product existed! I searched for turpentine to clean my oil paint brushes and bought this thinking it was just that. When I poured it this soapy, lathery looking liquid came out and I thought I did something wrong. Then I read the bottle and realised it was not turpentine but says will still clean the palette and brushes. I was so skeptical. But it cleaned it so easily, much better than turpentine in fact. And the fact that you only need to use a little per cleaning is a bonus. It smells so nice too. I have pets and a small house so I was pretty worried about filling the air with the smell of turpentine but this was a game changer. Price is good. Easy to use.

Utter disappointment
I finally broke out my oil paints and brushes today, knowing this would deliver. It arrived just as I finished painting. A couple things to say..1. This is utterly ineffective for oil paints. It can't even clean the oil paint off it's own bottle after I splashed a little while trying to clean my brushes. I ended up using ENTIRELY just dish soap for the actual cleaning of my brushes, and a touch of this stuff for softness. THIS DOES NOT CLEAN OIL PAINT.2. The jug design is terrible. As soon as you tilt it a little to try to pour some, it just spills and dribbles down the side of the bottle. It needs some sort if spout or more ergonomic shape. I spilled more accidentally than I actually used.3. The smell.. I typically love citrus scents but this is beyond overwhelming. Maybe I could use it as a room deodorizer instead of a brush cleaner..I wanted to be eco friendly with my brush cleaner but maybe there's a reason people still use chemicals for cleaning oil paints. This just does not work. Waste of money.
