Streax Professional Hold and Play Funky Colours, Hair Color, 100g - Groovry Pink

Alright so listen up! I’m 30 and I read news on TV in Canada. I came down to India on a break and woke up one day wanting to transform into a unicorn. After 500 minutes of online and offline research, I concluded Streax is a reputed, substantial, popular and funky option. I picked my Wonder Blue and ordered a bleach and developer separately. The rest of the story is on my photographs!!! I’ve listed the exuberance this product has brought to my life. The colour comes out as such a true blue only if you bleach your hair decently, as on the reference picture. Imagine painting a black canvas. It’s gonna be only a dirty deep blue in sunlight, that painting. Now imagine splashing any blue on a white canvas. Voila, my hair! Girls, guys, y’all magical others - hold your breath and click the buy button. I’ve put in your due share of research and purchase and hey I’m on my second tube, 3 months in. You can see my fade from the progression as well. Yes, with over 50 shampoo + conditioner washes the colour turns a teal. Else, you’re good to go. The bleaching with dry your hair out. So don’t be too adventurous with this if you got long hair. Nuh uh, you’ll regret it. Oh, did I mention? I did it all myself. Gave no salon no money to do something so basic. I got this tube, a bleach + developer kit (about another ₹300-400), and sat down one morning, bleached my hair, washed and dried it, applied colour, 30 minutes, boom. UNICORN, baby by afternoon. The colour looks vibrant on hair. It goes without saying that you need to bleach hair first. You'll need at least a level 7-8 bleach for the colour to show. Since it's a relatively dark colour it will give colour on level 7 hair but won't look great. My hair was bleached to level 8-9. Lasts pretty long, easily more than 10 washes. However as the colour fades, it tends to dry out hair which is quite natural for colouring agents like this one. It's a good choice and a trustworthy brand.

I really like this hair colour. Comes out beautiful and vibrant. Sometimes i mix 2 colors together, like violet and blue. The only downside is the smell, very strong and not pleasant. Best part is it has terrific staying power after multiple washes!

Good colour and easy to apply. I already had highlights and it turned out quite bright over that. In 2-3 washes will be the ideal colour. Let’s see.

This dye worked as well as can be expected on my unbleached grey/white hair, and my hair felt soft and healthy after the treatment. However, the colour is quite different than what is depicted on the box - it looks a lot more purple (during daylight) and red-purple (in the evenings) than the bright shocking pink I was hoping for. The colour looks similar to the purple-reds in a traditional hair-dye colour palette. *Pictures shared make the colour look a lot pinker than IRL*

Even after an hour there is zero colored hair left, all the color just washes away . It colors only white hair .

I've always liked Streax funky colours. They have much more shine and longevity than other funky colours I've tried. Also very cheap.

okay, so it's definitely easy to use, the quantity is good as well. for me, according to my hair thickness, it covered around 5 inches of my hair ( ombre effect ). you don't even have to bleach for long since pink is a dark colour. the pigmentation is very good but for me, it lasted just for 4 WEEKS which was a little disappointing. it comes off drastically after every wash even if you use colour retention shampoo. hair starts getting rough after 4 weeks, but it's manageable with hair masks and stuff. a lot of things depend on your hair quality and porosity really. overall, I'd like to say it's a great product for first timers and definitely value for money.
