Frenchi Home Furnishing Round End Table

Since this was my first time buying furniture from amazon.com, I was curious to see how it would turn out. Any worry I had was needless. The table arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. It took between 30 and 60 minutes to assemble, but I have lousy tools and I'm not very good at using them. Someone with better tools and more skill could assemble it in 15 minutes, I think. In any case, it was easy to assemble. And the table looks sharp! It is a solid, sturdy piece, and I know it'll last for years.

The table was nice and easy to assemble. The smaller parts were flimsy and cracked. It was a nice table regardless.

UPDATE: bought another one - still thought it could be a very nice table and the price was right. 2nd time was the charm - table went together easily and is very nice for the price. The instructions are still awful, but after trying to put this together once, the 2nd time was much easier. Recommend if you are familiar with putting stuff together. If you are not experienced, spend more elsewhere, the instructions are still awful.. step 1, step 2, step 4... still no step 3.....The table itself would be nice if the quality was decent. The pedestal stand bolts to the top by screwing into metal "grommets". However the grommets were stripped out and the top would not attach tightly. The top came off the 1st time we used the table!! The instructions are a joke - there are washers and lock washers included in the packaging, but they are not mentioned in the instructions. In fact the instructions are all pictures, no words and goes from step 1 to 2 to 4!!!On the plus side the table FEELS heavy and might be OK if the grommets seat and the pieces lock together tightly. Glue would certainly help as would instructions written by someone who completed the 4th grade.

This piece is attractive however its construction is of the cheapest quality. Hardware was missing for assembly but there was enough available to complete the job. With the Amazon card discount the total cost was $31 and change. This was an acceptable price for me and certainly would not have paid over $40 for this piece. In summary, it is an attractive piece at a distance but very poor quality materials so search for some sort of discount to mitigate buyers remorse. Caveat Emptor!

This chess table is perfect for my den. I have a marble chess set that accommodates the table quite nicely. You can also use various colored of themed pieces. Assembles fairly easy and is sturdy..

Cheaply made. Had several chips in the finish. The drawer is kind of odd too. But hey it was a great price for an item I am using in a office.

Would be nice for the price, if it came without blemishes. Bought directly from AMAZON and had to return because of two conspicuous defects/blotches on the chessboard. Also came without most of the screws/bolts, washers and Allen wrench. Received a duplicate bag of doorknobs and associated screws (4 doorknobs for 2 drawers). Someone must have put the wrong bag of screws in. Could have made do but specific sized bolts are necessary to attach the chessboard. Wanted a replacement but AMAZON now does not carry it! Ordered it again through Wayfair. Hopefully, it will comes intact, without blemish all the parts included. If not, I may have to return it yet again, as one of the others reviewers had to.

They are inexpensive, fit my space, the right color, but they aren't the most amazing quality, however with a wood marker I was able to touch up the raw edges around the small swing out door and I am good to go. I didn't expect the most amazing quality, so I got what I expected. The build quality (my husbands doing) made them super sturdy, so make sure you have a screw gun and a competent person to construct them.
