Some other lights have a larger plug and won’t fit. And traxxas does not have plugs separate.

Great packaging and instructions
Purchased this after the standard lighting kit, this kit replaces all the standard kit parts except for the actual lights. Also, you need to order the reverse lights separate along with the remote transmitter so you can control from the app.Overall, looks and works great. It’s a shame Traxxas makes it so confusing just to get a light kit. Kits don’t build on each other, just wasted parts and unnecessary costs.

This kit is the best purchase I have ever bought
Really no dislike but had to spend a 109.99 for new lights but luckily I just used the old lights on another Defender but well worth the money especially being on trail and not having to pull body off

Not compatable with non Traxxas electronics
This is a great kit for someone with an RTR or using all Traxxas electronics. I have a brushless motor and Flysky radio in a TRX4 Sport. I can get some of the features to work but it takes some guesswork and extra wiring. The instructions are only written for Traxxas electronics and customer service is no help.

Only got break lights after install.
Do not get if you already have a traxxas light kit.Ordered the Traxxas Pro Scale Advanced Lighting Control System (TRA6591) as I already have the light kit for my old 1979 bronco installed. Since that kit is not set up for turn signals or back up lights, of course none of it worked. Only the break lights worked.Look into the full pro scale control and light kit.Update.Installed Traxxas part 8032. Now have back up lights and a way to mound it to the body. Original pro light kit does not come with a body mount.Still no blinkers.
