Create-A-Treat E-Z Build Medium Gingerbread House Kit

We buy these every year to build as a family on Christmas Eve. Great seller and will be back!!

It arrived with broken pieces!!! Two of the sides are cracked in half and the front and back are both broken!!! I was looking forward to doing this with my grandsons but first I had to glue it together with the frosting, possibly taking frosting that we will need when we decorate the gingerbread house!! What a bummer! The company should pack it differently to reduce breakage! Do you hear that, Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp? Package your “Create a Treat” Gingerbread House differently so it doesn’t break in transit!!In addition, the frosting takes so long to stick & hold. When we tried to put the roof on, the house sides caved in. The jelly candies are old & hard. We ran out of frosting since we had to re-apply it again and again to hold the house together! We had to wait a long time for this frosting to stick & hold. I’ve built other gingerbread houses and have never had such difficulty getting the house to stick together. I was going to resort to hot glue to make this gingerbread house stick together! Having a kit that doesn’t work well takes all the fun out of doing it!

Nice kit, but could not get the frosting to hold the walls. It collapsed, but me and my Granddaughter had fun trying and eating it! :)
