Does this product screen the covered area from the sun?

This product does not act as a sunshield/screen and should not be trusted to protect sensitive scarred areas without something else to assist. It was not developed for that use.

Will it work on old scars and new scars?

Can i put makeup over it?

As far as makeup, no I don't think it would cover very long if at all due to the slick surface but the tape is definitely noticable it's thick although I did not use it for this purpose there may be better options for facial use, please keep in mind not to use this on any 'fresh' surgical incisions that you wouldn't want to risk post operative damage from the incision busting open as this happened to my C-section incision after 4 weeks post op (I waited longer than tape directions suggestion of 7-10 days and still regret it) and only two days applying this tape as directed I had to have EMS, open wound care, and two more rounds of antibiotics; please use with care.

Hello, can this sheets be used on face? I do have little scar on my upper lips and it goes up to the skin, is this safe to use it on lips/face?

I would assume that it can be used on the face (I did not use mine about the face). My scar was tiny, but was on my neck— so I cut my sheets to cover the scar and I only wore it during the time that I slept. I did this for 6 weeks post-op… as suggested by my surgeon.
