I have been using this Sappo Hill sandalwood soap for about 7 years. As a man that wants a gentle soap with a good but subtle scent, this product is fantastic. In my experience this soap is soft on the skin and I regularly use it to shave my face as it lathers really well. The value for a case is outstanding and the Sappo Hill brand makes a quality product that beats all the other sandalwood soaps I’ve tried. If you’re looking for an all purpose soap with light manly scent you will not be disappointed.

I really like this soap. In fact, I've now purchased this box if 12 bars twice. It does not smell as strong as some other reviewers have suggested, but that's a pretty subjective element. For me, it's just right. That said, it's not as sweet smelling as other Sandalwood products, with a more earthy scent. I like that, so will continue to use and buy this. For some, that may be what is referred to as "strong". My skin feels good after using it, and it leaves a subtle scent on me after showering. I'm a center-balding guy with really short hair, so have been using this on (what's left of) my hair too, with good results. No drying or flaking, etc. That's me, though. Might not work as well for those with longer locks.

Have ordered the sandalwood soap before and loved it, this time however the soap does NOT smell at all like the previous batch. It is not appealing at all. Have opened and (obviously) used a bar so probably not returnable, sadly, as this soap smells terrible.

I have always liked Sappo Hill soaps. I had stayed away from the Sandalwood one since I am very sensitive to even natural essences. During Covid the almond I usually use was unavailable so I went out on a limb and tried the sandalwood. I love it! No problems at all and will continue to buy this one. Their soap suds up well, last well. Have nothing wrong to say about them. The good and the bad with them is they have no wrapping. Great for the environment but some might not like receiving it that way.

I have sensitive skin, especially my face. Sappo Hill is the only soap I have used that hasn't dried my skin further, causing it to become red and flaky. Gentle. Lathers. Smells fantastic. Huge fan.

I love my sandalwood soap. I use it for regular washing and I use it for shaving my beard and my head. It smells manly and works great. I even put one on my truck dash as an air freshener.
