Great torch, fun to use.
I’ve had the torch about a week now and generally speaking been impressed.LIGHTINGI can’t say for certain if it puts out the full 2100 Lumens on turbo, but it’s certainly very bright. It’s got a very cool white colour and a tight beam profile. The throw is good, although I’m not sure it’s over 600m, however it’s entirely possibly my eyes aren’t good enough to detect it at that distance. The flag pole in my photo is 200m away and was easily illuminated in full darkness (photos don’t do it justice), so I’m confident it would extend further. Along with the tight hit spot, there is quite a lot of flood spill, so it does make the torch more versatile.FEATURESThe torch uses the Anduril interface that allows for a variety of options in use. It comes with the standard low/medium/high/turbo options, but the ramping brightness mode is great as it allows for such a range of choices. Having the option to use the torch as a powerbank is a lovely little feature to have included. I’ve not used this feature yet myself so cannot comment on its effectiveness, but I’m sure it would be handy to have in a pinch.WEIGHT AND BUILD QUALITYWhile relatively lightweight for its size, the IF22A has a reassuring heft to it and feels good in the hand. On the walk where I took the photos attached, I was out for about an hour. At no point did it become a pain to carry, either when in hand or in my pocket. The torch feels well put together and feels very sturdy. It comes packaged with spare o-rings that can be swapped out to maintain waterproofness and that’s a nice touch. The single button is easy to use and feels responsive, although in the dark I sometimes find this a little difficult to find, although that’s probably just nitpicking.OVERALLI’m really pleased with it. I have couple of older model Sofirn’s and the fit and finish has definitely improved over time. The IF22A puts out a lot of light and compares to a number of my more expensive torches form other brands. Sofirn are a company on the up and up with a wide variety options within their range. I have 3 now, I’ll almost certainly get more.

Long distance torch in a small package
I got the Sofirn IF22A as I wanted a long distance torch that wasn't too big. The IF22A doesn't disappoint!I've had the light for about a week now and used it on a few evening walks out in the countryside.I have a few torches from Sofirn (and Acebeam, Olight, Lumintop, Convoy, Astrolux...), including ones that are much brighter or have a much greater beam distance. But this Sofirn packs a punch whilst being pocket size.Sofirn lights are considered very good for their price by "flashlight enthusiasts" and the IF22A follows in their tradition. Note that this torch is a focused, long distance light, rather than a very floody one. It still has a bit of flood though. The light comes with a 21700 size battery, which is much bigger than an AA, so provides more power and good run times. it comes with an adaptor to use slightly smaller 18650 batteries too but these are shorter, (like my Sony VTC5A, pictured) so it will only work with button top 18650s (or should work with a small magnet). The light charges with USB-C. This is proper USB-C and works with a C-to-C cable, unlike cheaper torches. The light also works as a power bank and correctly charges my phone with a C-to-C cable. This is the first single cell torch that I've seen do this properly, so nice work from Sofirn. The light has a side switch, which follows the usual click to turn on/off and also allows double click for turbo or hold from off to go into the lowest mode. No need to cycle through annoying strobe modes like on many cheap torches. You can also hold the switch while on and it will ramp up/down brightness. This means you can get the torch to any level you want.On turbo the light pumps out about 6 times as much light as a cheap "zoomie" torch (like the ones that let you use 3 AAA batteries).

Powerful
Really versatile. Can move around in the dark without waking my wife, or light up the whole road on full beam. Sometimes too bright for closer work.
