TIMBERTECHComposite DeckCleaner - 1 Gallon

This stuff worked like magic. Wasn’t sure how much cleaner I’d need so I mixed up about a gallon of cleaner (1 part solution, 3 parts water) in an applicator bottle and washed our 200 sq foot deck. Literally finished the last fascia board with the last pump in the sprayer. We have heavy clay soil in our area and it had been caked on the deck (Azek Vintage) a mop and warm water wasn’t cutting it so I thought I’d give this a shot since its a cleaner designed for our specific decking material. Sprayed the solution on pretty generously to about 6-8 boards at a time, let it sit for about 60 seconds, hit it with stiff, natural fiber brush recommended on the bottle. Rinsed with a good powerful hose nozzle and poof, deep clay stains gone! Was really happy to have not had to use the pressure washer. The deck looks incredible and bright. You don’t realize how much dried dirt and foot traffic dulls the color and I gotta say, I’m sold on this stuff!!

I used it to clean our Timber Tech decking and it worked like a champ. Just following the directions and avoiding letting it dry or be exposed to direct sunlight and the deck looked perfect. I just used a hand pump sprayer to apply it, a Rubbermaid broom to clean, strong hose spray and a cordless leaf blower to aid the drying. While it isn't cheap, it does do the job.

I didn't really notice any improvement in cleaning ability compared to any other standard cleaner. It still took a lot of elbow grease to remove some stains and some didn't really completely come off.

Tried other cleaners - including a highly rated "Krud Kutter". Krud Kutter stripped the paint off molding. This is recommended by Azek, to clean their product. More expensive - but - this product did a very good job. In fairness - didn't get everything, but - it did a very good job. Also cleaned the black stains off my white gutters. Would have given it 5 stars except for the cost.

about 2/3 of my Timbertech boards are fading and getting a "white" appearance on them. Some boards seem to be unaffected and still look good. Keep in mind that these boards are directly next to each other and should be equally weathered/faded. Timbertech recommended this product. It did not change the appearance one bit. Pretty sure that not enough UV protection was added to the mix on some of the deck boards. This product did not help that.
