What Glue (type or brand) would you recommend?

I use gel polish! So I adhere the glitter and rhinestones by sticking them to the top coat, then curing it under a uv lamp. If you dont use gel polish, regular clear nail glue will work, it just isnt aa good because it dries kinda chunky.

So do I have to apply the polish first then the design so it can stick ? Would it smudge the the polish if I'm using gel , what would make it stick

Not quite sure what kind of design you are doing. If you are using gel polish just do your color layers and cureif you want a glitter polish look add the glitter to the tacky color layer then top coat or for a sugar look add glitter directly to the no wipe top coat before curing. For the confetti I add the to the top coat before curing and another top coat to seal them. If you are painting on design I always top coat and cure first so if I need to clean anything up it doesn't mess up the color layer, paint design, cure, then top coat again. Hope this helps.
