Did the job I needed
Needed a good food grade lubricant to grease my honey extractor. Perfect size tube and a good price.

Cheapest food grade silicone grease I found
Some pressure cooker/canner manufacturers suggest Vaseline or vegetable oil for lubing lid seal, either rubber gasket or mechanical seal on some. Food grade silicone grease is far superior IMHO, but suppose they figure everybody has Vaseline and cooking oil, but food grade silicone grease is something they have to hunt down, not a common household product. Anyway I have an old Presto pressure cooker, wash the gasket, lube it and reinstall. The cam style lids means the gasket takes abuse every time you open and close the lid as it rubs against the rim of the lower part as you twist the lid. Lubing it helps a lot, makes it easier to open/close, also helps keep gasket from getting stiff. I am not sure what they make the modern replacement gaskets out of but steam seems to dry them out quick as opposed to the older original red rubber gaskets which I theorize to maybe be made of natural rubber. the old ones could last decades, the newer ones maybe couple years at most when in daily use. I also have an older Montgomery Wards pressure canner (made by National) with mechanical seal (no gasket) and thin film of silicone grease keeps lid from sticking after it depressurizes and is unclamped. Its very similar to modern All-American canner if you are more familiar with it. All-American suggests Vaseline.....

Looks To Be A Good Product
I can't really rate how good the product is as I bought it as a replacement and haven't had a use for it yet. It was less expensive than any of the alternatives I found.

Great Value over OEM
I use it for lubrication on my Phillips Saeco super automatic Expresso machine. It costs a fraction of the price of the manufacturers product but is exactly the same. Useful for lubrication of other things that need to be food safe, such as water filters and O rings.
