Superb quality as usual with Mitutoyo, I look forward to using these for many years to come.

Been using my co workers Starrett Set of telescoping gauges which are very very nice albeit quite a bit more expensive. The action on these mitutoyo's isn't as smooth as the Starrets I've used however it may be that these mitutoyo's just need be broken in. Did a quick comparison on these vs. the Starretts my coworkers have and as mentioned above the action isn't as smooth on the mitutoyo's but they are almost dead spot on in terms of measurement results between the two brands. I will continue to support and purchase Mitutoyo products far into the future.
