So far it has helped in keeping the allergy down and they don't shed as much.

Updated- the customer service was fantastic, even though it wasn’t effective for me. I would recommend giving it a try to see if it works for you. It was recommended to me because it worked for my friend’s daughter’s cat allergies. I don’t want to knock this if it works for other people, but it didn’t work for me. I wasn’t even sure if I was doing it correctly, because I put the spray on the towel and wiped my dog down. It felt like it only covered the top of his coat. I put on enough to make him feel wet but I didn’t notice a difference at all. I did it a few times in one day, maybe I should have kept up with it. I hope it works better for you. The smell was fine and dog didn’t mind me putting it on him

Smells bad, but works well, like the shampoo better, soft coat

I haven’t used it in a few months because something made my dog’s skin raw and I don’t know if it was this or the shampoo I bathed him with so I just played it safe and stopped using both.

So I brought a cockapoo dog earlier this year and they stated that that she was " "hypoallergenic" After i got the puppy my allergies and sinus issues went through the roof non stop for a week straight, day in and day out. Then I started developing shortness of breathe and couldn't breathe. I was truly contemplating going to the ER but I held out. Im a hard headed Nurse 😂. But me and my husband started to think about giving her back and it truly brought me to tears. I did want to take shots for the rest of my life nor did the allergy medication work no matter what I took. I was even more saddened. I then started to break out in hives when I touched her. At that point my worst fears came true. I knew I had to give her away. Seriously one last hope I search and searched and found allerpet. I was skeptical but the reviews for this was good, so I tried it. When I tell you... Seriously it truly works. After washing her up, drying, and brushing her I put it on. I also washed all of her bedding, toys, blankets and crate, as i always done before anyway. After the first use, like the next day or 2. My allergies was gone. I didnt have difficulty breathing, no hives, or allergies nor sinus issues. I was shocked and truly relieved. It helped me and helped us keep our pup.

My husband and I purchased a male mini schnauzer in July 2021 ( schnauzers do not shed). I have had female schnauzers in the past with no issues. I began to develop painful inflamed sinuses, sneezing and runny nose within days of purchasing our Mootsie. We bonded right away so re-homing was not in the picture at all. He is our precious baby. I tried Flonase, Zyrtec that dried my sinuses which caused more inflammation so I saw an allergy specialist. I tried nasal saline sprays too. I wore myself out every day cleaning house, vacuuming and washing floors, dog toys, and bathed dogs once to twice a week as well as bedding etc.. Basically the Allergy Doc said I could either re-home the pup or go through extensive immunotherapy (weekly injections for months) which doesn’t always work. We were also told by a veterinarian that male dogs have different proteins they produce such as the prostate gland protein that female dogs don’t have. And that many people that are allergic to dogs don’t know that it’s just the male dogs they are allergic to. This explains why I have never been allergic to my female dogs in the past. Long story short, I dug into online articles on pet allergies and what to do about them. I tried a couple of different allergy sprays that you put on carpets cushions curtains beds etc. There was minimal help from those. I ran across this product and had to give it a try. Well I have to say two days later, it does help. Mootsie seems to enjoy being wiped down and thinks it’s a fun game. The only down side is the bottles are small and expensive. It works well but you have to be diligent and thoroughly apply it a couple of times a day. Two bottles should last me about 3 weeks and I will still continue with the washing, cleaning and vacuuming.

I am trying a number of things for my dog allergies. This product left her coat very nice and shiny and soft. This company seriously needs to reoplace their sprayer nozzle as I could not get it to work. This is important to fix this oroblem nozzle as this spray should be evenly applied.
