Sound proofing is not that effective - didn’t reduce much noise on the other side of the wall (tried before and after).ALSO….. when we tried taking the pads off the wall the left over adhesive goo is hard stuck to the wall. Running super hard with + multiple layers of Goo Gone couldn’t get rid of it.

Used white and gray (and pink from a different brand) to make an accent wall in my girls' room. Easy to install and adhesive is strong enough to stick but not too strong that they cannot be (somewhat easily) removed. Liked it so much I purchased squares (different brand) for my son's room. Can't comment much on sound proofing since I used it purely for decor but I would recommend them.
