Son uses this to mount his night vision to his helmet. He says it holds its retention well and doesn’t come loose.

Clipped in tight without play of any sort. Tension holds the GoPro in peace well too

This appears to be well constructed. However it is a lose fit. Mine requires 2 squares of foam tape to take the rabble out of it. Now it fits as it should with no wobble.

So far it looks great, I just need to put the cam on and see if it holds after rigorous activity.Seems like sturdy aluminum. Light weight. Spring loaded tab to lock into place. No side to side movement.It does wiggle back and forth BUT they include two adhesive backed foam pieces that you attach to the back of the mount which makes it fit very snug. My thought is this is done because of varying mount dimensions and allows it to be more one size fits all as well as a protector for the finish on your helmet.I cannot attest to the strength of the camera mount tangs yet but if your camera mount tangs fit in tightly, im sure they will hold up nicely.(my personal thoughts from using other camera mounts like this), If your camera mount does not fit in nice and tight (no gap between tang contact points) get one that fits snug. Aluminum can take a little flex but if you crank down the tighting screw with too much with a gap, Im sure a tang could snap. Not a design flaw, just the material properties.Looking forward to putting this mount to the test and will try to remember to update how it holds up.
