Fitting the retaining nut is a bit of a chore but it can be done without removing the wheel. I cut an old wire hanger and bent it to hold the nut flat when threaded on the wire. Ran the end up over the wheel and through the hole on the wheel arch. Pulled it through. Once in position clipped the retaining ring, all done. Fitted my new seat.

I liked the look of the product, will not rust and easy to grip. The fitting of the nut is easy, just a simple hole, not the keyhole type on standard harley fixing nut, sits deeper under the mudguard, which could cause an issue with a close running wheel. Generally could value for quality.

They are a little longer than standard and although they fit in the standard seat fitting they are better with the captive fitting they come with. They don't feel particularly sturdy as they are aluminium and I will probably consign them to the spares box.

Seem to be good quality, and they do the job well. Having the rubber washer is also a nice touch, as it will help stop them getting loose over time with bumps on the road (which is what happened to my old ones as they got loose and fell off during my ride). I didn't need to use the supplied threaded nuts, because the bolts went straight into the existing holes in the fender (Harley Davidson Sportster). My bike is all blacked out, so these black bolts look and fit really well with the style.

Utilizzato per sostituire la vite della sella della mia harley sportster. Ben fatta e ben rifinita, ovviamente come si evince chiaramente dalle foto la basetta “femmina” non ha il pisolino che permetterebbe il bloccaggio per un serraglio completo, a me non da nessun fastidio basta tenere con l’altra mano la basetta e avvitare.
