Awesome durability for heavy, daily use

We’re learning to groom Dasher an Ausie Doodle Mimi ourselves. YouTube is our trainer. Our neighbor gave us his clippers with a number 10 blade and some combs. He wanted to groom their dog but gave up, so his clippers were passed on to us. We tried the plastic combs but weren’t totally satisfied so I ordered this 5F 6mm blade. It worked way better than the comb. It slides through the coat way better, and the length is perfect.

This 10 w competition series blade is an absolute dream !! I am a DIY for the last 9 years for my two standard poodles and I wish I had had this blade all along. I will be switching all my blades to the competition series even though I don’t show or compete. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Professional dog groomer here. I spent 30-40 per blade, several blades. Not only does this not come sharpened, the quality of the blades are terrible. I took to a sharpener who has been doing this for 15+ years and who said these blades are very difficult to sharpen. Even if they are, they only last one to two grooms. He recommended Artero instead, saying that they are easier to sharpen and last a long time.

I needed to add an update because I was wrong!My clippers came with a 10 blade, which wouldn’t cut through the hair with an attachment comb. I needed to buy a shorter blade so I went with a 40 because I thought it would give an even cleaner cut than a 30.Well… no… the combs didn’t fit right and the teeth broke on the 40 blade.Come to find out, I bought the wrong blade. It’s my understanding that the 30 blade is what needs to be used with an attachment comb. The 40 is much too small which is why the combs slide. So yeah, nothing wrong with this product, just user error.I don’t understand how this broke on me brand new.And the guard combs that I got with it, one of them is too big and slides around in the blade. Probably how the teeth broke.

This came new, unused, and oiled. Slapped it on and went to work on my Doodle. He had a few large areas that matted (back legs, neck, under ears) so I just took off everything with this blade.It cut smoothly with no snags or build-up.I like the raised fins along the back; they help dissipate heat and smoothly guides the clippers.

I use it on my two standard poodles. I cut their bodies short every 2-3 weeks with this blade. I own several of them because I have blades for dirty cuts and clean cuts that I use. I don’t use them interchangeably, because when you cut your dog dirty the blade will dull quicker than when you use it on a clean dog. I also buy the #10 from Wahl and that is what I use on their faces, paws and sanitary areas. Very good quality blades. I will keep buying this brand!

Works great

I purchased this blade in order to use something else besides the number 10 which is only 2 mm long that came with my KM five. I’m very happy with the quality of this blade, and the 6 mm length is perfect for my Yorkies. Not too short to where he can see the skin but long enough so that they still have a little bit of hair after the haircut.
