I retired a 15 year old Pampered Chef chopper and ordered this one. It works fine. If comparing which I am, you can feel the difference in the quality of materials but again it chops just fine. I do not like how it internally holds water after washing. You have to flip it back and forth to remove the water.

I have pretty severe arthritis in my hands and sometimes things get hard for me to do. This little device is wonderful. Can chop onions, eggs and so many other things with ease. Sits on a counter or cutting board without problems. Now I can have the kinds of chopped foods when I want instead of waiting for a "good day" or for someone to come and do it for me.

It works well enough, but I don’t know how long it will last. The blade cover doesn’t click into the top part so it’s just kind of loose and a pain. But I can’t give it a lower rating because you get what you pay for and this one is pretty cheap.

So far I've only used it for onions & garlic. It does work, but misses some of the onion and garlic. I end having to chop what's left. It's not terribly sharp. Again, it does chop and is easy to use and clean.

Dislike: item does not splay open for efficient cleaning, thus food particles are left and cannot be reached.

I had another electric chopper which really never worked well, and was terrible to clean. This manual chopper is great!

The last one I had rotated each time it chopped so it better chopped everything, not just certain spots. Disappointed that it doesn't chop everything. And a lot sticks to the blades or gets in above the guard that the blades fit through. Have found myself going back to the hammer the nuts in a plastic baggie method.

If you could imagine chopping a onion with a spoon, that's how it turned out.

So easy to use to get veg etc chopped nice and small. Its always a pain to get items chopped up small, but with this you make a couple of small chops, pop it in and bang away!! Tiny bits of onion ready for your pasta! Love it

The chopping area is not tall enough for half an onion. In order to put things in the chopping area you must take out the blades and the cover separately as they are not attached to each other. This means that to put the blades back in you firt put the blade cover back in, then try to line the blades back up with it, then try to rotate that lot together to line up with the clips, without tipping the stuff you want to chop back out. Not ideal.

Great kitchen gadget. Chops nuts, onion, any other vegetables perfectly. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. Blades are very sharp and you don't need extra power to chop. Slightly press several times and all done.

Sorry but not impressed with this food chopper, tried chopping mint leaves for mint sauce, all it did was squash them to the bottom same with onions and even eggs. Gone to the back of my cupboard with my other useless buys.
