I use this Saltron unit for hot tubs at my two homes and have had to replace them twice at each place in ten years. That being the only problem with them in constant use ( no off time), I still find them to be a good buy since they work extremely well day in and day out until they need replacing. That comes to about $0.27/ day to keep my salt water perfectly clear and free of any microbial contamination and reliably ready for use at all times. Seems like it is a good buy to me.

Been on the fence for awhile about pulling the trigger on buying a salt water generator for my hot tub. I have had the hot tub for a year and a half and CONSTANTLY struggled with maintaining my chlorine levels..... I have had this Saltron mini and it has been life changing. It has been installed for almost 2 weeks and my chlorine levels have been perfect. I have it set for 8 hours and it keeps my chlorine levels perfect. I still oxidize it once a week but that's it. Total game changer!

This is my second purchase of this item since the first purchase went so well! The first one lasted eight years and kept my hot tub water well within all test parameters. I only had to add salt occasionally. Salt water is corrosive, and I have had to replace the heater every three years or so since switching to it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to switch to salt water!

This thing is awesome, we replaced our hot tub salt water cartridges with this and it works great. Make sure your spa is salt water compatible write purchasing though.The first one I ordered had an issue and didn’t work correctly, but I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new one right away. All that was needed was proof of purchase. Excellent customer service!
