MINI160 solar electric fence

I recently purchased the 10 Miles Solar Electric Fence Charger, and it has exceeded my expectations! Setting it up was straightforward, and the portable design makes it easy to move between fences if needed. I love that it has a day/night mode and a rechargeable solar panel, which keeps my fences powered 24/7 without any hassle. I feel confident knowing my livestock is protected without constantly checking or replacing batteries. Overall, it’s efficient, easy to use, and great value. Easy to setup, long lasting battery powered by solar. Easy to mount. We bought this to keep some cows out of our yard and it’s working perfectly.

I am disappointed. Very disappointed! Although it presents itself as a good valve for the money, and certainly easy to use (set up) it, in my experience and opinion, sorely lacks the power needed to dissuade and deter certain predators. It is advertised as up to 10 miles, but the model I received states up to 2 miles. (That’s quite a disparity!). But my application is for a very small garden area to keep the deer away. To my surprise and utter disappointment it did not deter the deer at all! It was eating away on my squash plants. No doubt It would have done more damage, had the camera no activated notifying me some was there. (This was at night.) I hurried outside and shooed it way.

Keeps critters in and predators out. Easy to put up. Fast charge rate. Good power output.

It worked for a few days. When I checked it this morning it was not working. The last two decades I have always used Gallagher, but thought I would try this because of price. Then when I try to return Amazon use to send return code to phone, but now you have to print your own label. I do not have a printer, so what use to be simple is not. Bottom line just stick with Gallagher fence chargers, they are worth the extra money.

Works as described

Last summer the deer ate nearly everything in our garden. This summer we upgraded - the deer got NOTHING! It's easy to install, charges great, the batter life is superb, and the price is so much better than one with a separate solar panel. I have recommended this product to several friends who have purchased one. From experience I can tell you the shock is enough to ensure you don't want to touch the wire a second time.
