VACUUM SEALER IS COMPACT AND WORKS GREAT.
This vacuum sealer is very sleek and it looks really nice on the counter. Because it was a Christmas gift, I have only used it once. It is my second vacuum sealer and it has more capabilities and worked really well. The instructions are very complete. I give it five stars so far. I am very pleased with it. I love how compact it is. The quality is excellent and the customer support is exceptional.

Keeps your frozen food so fresh!
This is a replacement for my first one which after many years of use finally gave out. I was so happy to see that I could buy the exact same sealer. I use it several times a week and I love having my frozen items sealed tightly so I can mark what it is and the date. Vacuum sealing keeps all the food so fresh even when I left it a bit too long time in the freezer. So handy and easy to use. The capacity of the bags is perfect. I usually freeze the item first on a pan or in a silicone mold and then vacuum seal it. That seems to work the best for me.

Good option
Works great for meats. Used this to seal all of mine 2 months ago. Still no freezer burn. Can be tricky to figure out how to use

Saves money, easy to use, keeps things fresh
It saves us money!!! We can purchase large quantities of meat and separate it easily. The freshness of the meat is still as if we just bought it. I found it easy to use. I’ve used it on vegetables and meats for months now and loved it!

GOOD IDEA WITH POOR EXECUTION
I'll start off saying flat out that this product is not good if your plan is to vacuum seal meats or vegetables for freezing. Now, you might be thinking, "Hey! That's what it's supposed to be for!" To that, I would respond, "Correct." There are some very forgiving people writing reviews on here, documenting their multiple failed attempts for each and then giving kudos because it got it right the 4th time. Bless their hearts. First the good. (1) It does seal the bags quite well. So, if you want to just use it for size appropriate bags for your freezer items and then rull them tight to push out air and seal them up at the other end, THIS is the for YOU! (2) It's light and has fairly simple operation, as far as the controls go. (3) No vampires. There were no vampires hidden in the box. The bad. (1) I'd say it sucks, but it doesn't suck, which is bad for a vacuum device. Your average turkey baster creates a more intense suction than this thing. So, even if the operation of the thing was better, it still would never be able to do its job very well. (2) Everyone going on and on about how the interior bags can't be moist...that's ridiculous. You're saying it's great for me to freeze my turkey jerky? Who is loading these up with dried good day in and day out. No one. If it needs to be bone dry to function then it doesn't function. I'd guess 80% of people buy this to freeze meat, which is mostly water. It's moist. Am I supposed to put meat into a ziploc freezer bag before that bag into the bags for this device? This also is ridiculous. (3) Now, if I follow all of the advice everyone is giving, drying out my bags after loading them with food, placing them on straight, pushing down on the lid until both sides click, etc....about 1 out of every 4 attempts will result in the device functioning. Again, however, it's not much suction. It's not going to be like a shrink-wrapped food item you've ever purchased. Still, it will have worked. However, you'd probably be spending about an hour to separate and freeze a dozen chicken legs (2-3 to a pack). A freezer bag could do the same job by just manually pushing out air before freezing and take 1/10th the time. So, in summation. This is a great purchase if you are SUPER bored during the COVID-19 outbreak. It's great if you have nothing but free time on your hands and lower your expectations to semi-vacuum. The 4 and 5 star reviews, I'd have to assume that those are relatives, Billy Joe and Bobby Sue NurtiChef, 2nd cousins on the mother's side. It just isn't possible to be that thrilled by this purchase. From what I've read about returns (3rd part seller), it's probably not worth it. At least I have a sealer now.

Great and Budget friendly
Definitely don’t need to blow a bunch of money on the fancy ones. This thing is a power machine. Works great and easy to store, but also isn’t horribly loud. Seals great, had maybe one or two bags that didn’t close all the way but it was mostly user error.

Great purchase!
I ordered this a while back and it is still working amazing! I love how easy it is to use and that it does such a great job! Its not bulky and has a sleek design. It heats to create a great seal without heating any area that may cause harm. Its super fast to vacuum and seal items. Even when it is on wet items and gentle mode. It does great without crushing anything.

Decent for the price, but short-lived. Finicky.
Did it work? Yes-ish: “Great” for 2 years, “Pretty good” for 3 years, “almost” for 1 year. Dead in its 6th year. So … Does it work now? Nope. How’s the sealing? It’s good, but not perfect. Hot parts fuse plastic, but if there’s a drop of moisture or I-don’t-know-why (protoplasm?) in a spot, then that spot isn’t sealed and you’ll lose your vacuum & start over. I made it a habit to seal 2 lines a 1/4” apart, for everything, so I could avoid the protoplasm check-and-redo step. How’s the vacuum? It’s finicky and likes special treatment and gentle pressures here & there and arrangements. I often wished for 3 hands to get it to operate perfectly. So when it works, it’s fine, but it isn’t really ‘plug & play’ in this regard. The amount of vacuum was good, but it didn’t reliably work because the design of the hinge + locks was insufficient. There was a lot of “why isn’t there sucking going on right now?” A sentence I suspect many have uttered. Longevity? Nope. Given how very little use this got (seasonal garden vegetables mostly) and the good treatment it received, it should have lasted a looong time. Why’d it break? Design flaw: there’s a 5-wire flat bundle running up through the hinge, as I found when I dismantled the corpse. The hinge itself, over time and repetition, severed those wires. Too little material slack & given the point of failure - not possible for me to simply solder them together again. Worth the money? Probably yes for some, depending on your needs and your frequency of use. It was a good starter unit with a low cost to help us decide if we’d use it enough to justify owning one. (I’m going to pay more for my next one. Which I will likely regret when it fails & end up buying one of these again every 5 years. *Sigh*) The good news? As noted by another reviewer, there indeed were no vampires hidden in the box.
