Hercules iPad Holder (DG307B), Black

The hercules was recommended to me by a seasoned musician when I was looking for a microphone stand ipad holder. I was looking at cheaper ones but I was dubious about the quality of them. When I finally decided to take the advice I was hoping the price would be worth it. It absolutely was. The quality is excellent.The ipad edges are protected by a rubber lining set into the clasps. (Not like the ones that have foam glued on that eventually rips or drops off) which means it won't damage your device. The holders and fittings to tighten and loosen are excellent quality and are so sturdy. Even better, it doubles as a phone holder too. It was so easy to install too.I used the ipad holder for a gig and it was brilliant . It was perfect and ot looked professional. My 10inch ipad fit perfectly. Couldn't be happier with this and it was so worth the money

A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality build and metal as opposed to plastic. Also gives you complete control with regards to adjustment on angle and feels very secure

Very easy to use. Sturdy and compact. Attaches to the narrow part of the mic stand which is really useful. I've owned a few from different brands and this one comes out on top. Would recommend for phone or iPad. I also think it's great value for money.

I've had other, less expensive iPad holders for use on stage. This is the best of them all. It grips tight on my mic stand and doesn't wobble. I use it with my iPad mini 6 in its case.This might be more expensive, but by this one and you'll save money in the long run.

Versus any competitor items, this is by far the best quality. Value for money, yes, in the regards it will last forever. Functionality wise, works with phone or iPad easily. Fits onto the stand easily and generally is just exceptionally good.

I like the fact that once the iPad is in the holder it definitely won’t be moving. I find removing it quite difficult though.

Ok this is a little more expensive than its competitors, but looking at the reviews of the cheaper models they have some very significant and damming bad reviews, like the tightening knob breaking or the whole thing being too fragile and tablet/phone hitting the floor.One of the negative reviews directed me to this product (so yes its worth reading reviews!), £12 more expensive than the rest of the pack, but its built out of what appears to be better materials, using metal where possible, it gives the impression of professional audio or camera type quality, where a fail is expensive!Itsy easy to use and versatile, and holds the tablet/phone securely, using it with a Microsoft Surface pro, can mount on a desk, music stand (on tube or the flat music sheet holder), microphone stand. or with a bit more effort a standard tripod stand. Little doubt it would be great on a stage environment.Given this is going to be holding an expensive piece of kit, smart phone or tablet, going for the cheapest is a false economy. So worth paying the difference in price.Will update the review if any problems, but for now it seems spot onSo would I buy again? Yes
