Good for a short lid.
I installed this quickly and when I tested it I found that it resists on the lift. It turns out it is designed lift slowly when you give it a start. All of my other lifts move a lot faster on up and are slow to close. Works as long as you dont force it open.

These fit the SENTRY gun safe perfectly.!!! Almost an exact mach up!
These fit the SENTRY gun safe perfectly. Use your original heads from your old hydraulic lift by unscrewing and then screwing onto this hydraulic lift and it works GREAT. Much cheaper than calling Sentry @ $20 EACH.

Not too impressed
I purchased a set of 4 struts and several of the "soft close hinges" broke while trying to connect them. They're made of plastic. Because of they're breaking, I was only able to install two of the struts. Very disappointing.
