HJ124 Jadeite Glass Collection Butter Dish, 6.75 x 3.25 x 2.25, Green

It is pretty, and at a good price-IF the lid would stay more securely on the plate. Ironically it nestles beautifully and stays secure when inverted however, one can't put a butter lid on it's plate upside down unless there is no butter on the plate. Harrumph. The colour is good and it sits proudly with my vintage pieces; doesn't look like a reproduction sore thumb to a casual collector. It is a bit too thick and chunky to see my hand through when I hold it up to the light. Sadly, I probably won't use it for butter as planned...

I ordered two dessert dishes and a butter dish in early September, as I like the jadeite. The dessert dishes never arrived and when I track the package it gives me no way to contact anyone. It looks as though I returned them and they are sending replacements, but I never received them. The butter dish came in an envelope and was chipped. I taped it together, put it back in there envelope and sent it back with the return label. I have still not received a refund, or the dessert dishes.

as stated many times, too small for a stick of butter. I thought this was made on the US. The listing isn't clear,

This came chipped and cracked so I sent it back.
