Newark 1/4 Zip Grid Fleece Washed Black

*update. Full refund of postage.I have an identical top so ordered the same size expecting it would fit. It does not, it feels more like it's 2 sizes to small.Unfortunately this company want me to pay for the return, this is unacceptable, the item is not as described as it quite clearly was not made in the same place as my shop bought version. So I'm off to the post office to pay for a return for a poor quality badly fitting misdescribed product.I'll stick to Prime in future where you don't have to deal with individual companies returns policies that manage to sidestep the consumer rights act by having options on the return system that avoid them paying for returns of poor quality items.

I bought this (and another, similar Weird Fish fleece) mainly because the price was right and I had seen the quality of their products before. It is a fairly heavyweight fleece with a grid like pattern and a smooth zip closure. There are no pockets. Unlike some fleeces, it is quite long in the body and I find it very efficient at maintaining core warmth. My only reason for not rating it at 5 stars is the length of the sleeves. My arms are not short but the sleeves finish at the knuckles, which is too long. I fold the sleeve ends back on the inside which means there is a slightly bulky end.

Very heavyweight quality fleece. It is very warm and soft.Good looking and absolutely one of my favorite fleece pullovers.Based on other reviews I ordered one size smaller than usual (from XL to L) and even though arm length was still quite long it was great. After one wash arm length is perfect.For the price it's a steal.

I loved the colour of this particular fleece, breaking away from my traditional blue or grey. It has a nice feel to it and warm to wear. I have purchased many Weird Fish products over the years and have never been disappointed, however this time around I have some reservations regarding the length of the garment. I purchased XL as usual as I am 6’2 and have a long back. The length of this particular fleece is less than any prior Weird Fish purchase and is shorter than I would normally wear. This is not just an issue with Weird Fish, but all clothing manufacturers seem to add extra material across the girth thinking XL equates to rotund figure. I would prefer the extra material is used to extend the length of garments, but perhaps that is just me. I would still recommend Weird Fish products despite my comments.

Ordered three different sizes of this lovely jumper. Retuned two sizes but after numerous calls and emails to Weird Fish - who always said they had processed my refund and blamed Amazon for the delay - after over a month since I had returned my items, I had to get Amazon involved to process my refund of £70. So, nice product but don't bother ordering multiple sizes as you will find it hard to get a refund

I bought this fleece as a birthday present. It is very cuddly and warm and fits as expected (I bought size medium). It is a really nice colour that will go with all colours of trousers. The fleece has a nice 'squared' pattern in it. It is described as black but is really a very dark grey with a black background, but that doesn't matter to me. The fleece arrived quickly, well packed and was an excellent price. The birthday boy is very happy. Highly recommended.

The item was exactly as I ordered and its style was the one I wanted. However, on trying the garment I found it fitted and looked perfect from the front, but at the back it hung loose as though there was too much material. I am an average medium size, not thin and not fat. So I could not explain the way the top fitted and the back. A shame really as I actually liked the top, a pity it just hung out of shape at the back.

I recently bought this item but they sent the wrong one.. a similar one I already had. But they are always a good fit and if I want a new Top now I always look at Weird Fish first. Great style and fit and really warm too. I recommend this brand to anyone who hasn't tried them before.
