I can always count on Ghirardelli for quality products. Used to love seeing the huge Ghirardelli sign down on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. Quality chocolate, hot chocolate mix and now the caramel sauce. I used to get the venti sized caramel latté at Starbucks with extra whipped cream and extra caramel sauce on top. (I know, cost a fortune!) I loved that caramel sauce and was hoping this would be close. It surpasses it. I use some in my coffee once in a while. It’s also very sweet so it’s a bit tricky to get that caramel taste without it being too sweet but I manage! Also great on Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (like it needs any topping). Pours smoothly and I don’t have to squeeze bottle with lots of effort, at least not so far. I imagine it will be a little difficult once I get down to the end of the bottle, but I’m trying to make it last. It’s worth the price. Many other caramel sauces just taste sweet with little real caramel flavor. Lastly, I bought it earlier this month, October 2024, and expiration date is not until 12/30/2025 which is great. Always a risk with food products online. Please try it.

Long have I been searching for the caramel sauce used by my local coffee shop, which makes truly *excellent* caramel macchiatos, so I could replicate their fine craft from the comfort of my home. Vanilla syrup, freshly ground beans, delicious steamed milk — all of these components were to be combined for the perfect gourmet caramel macchiato, but something essential was still missing that wasn't fulfilled by my cheap bottle of caramel syrup. Enter: Ghirardelli Caramel Sauce.At first, I taste-tested it on its own and thought it was far too sweet... but when mixed with creamy milk, the complex bitterness of espresso, and a hint of vanilla? Stunningly DELICIOUS. I was so excited, because I was able to replicate my favorite coffee drink at home without needing to spend $5 a cup! And, get this: it truly is the EXACT SAME caramel sauce as the one my local coffee shop uses. It just needs to be balanced by some good quality espresso. I recommend this caramel sauce as a true home barista essential.

The BEST dang chocolate syrup on the market! Hands down the best. Do yourself and buy the companion pump because this wonderful chocolate syrup is so thick it doesn't pour well. That is a plus though. I can eat this by the spoon,lol. It's dark and has depth of flavor!

I will definitely be buying this again. I used to use the Smuckers brand, but this one is so much better. The taste is great. Great value for the money! The bottle is definitely durable and does not need to be refrigerated after opening, which is great, nice thick consistency smells awesome too. The seal on mine broke, or came broke which I’m not happy about, but it still seals correctly

Got this to use for making hot white chocolate with milk but it doesn't seem to work well for that a it requires too much. Works fine on ice cream.

This is one of my favorites for coffee. I mix it with my espresso shots and the flavor is so good. I like that it comes in a pack of 2 to keep some stored.

I buy this once a month for my morning white mocha lattes and it’s so delicious it’ll always be a staple in my coffee routine! (it’s also delicious on ice cream)

I like that this sauce isn't so sweet like the other ones that you get from the stores from Smuckers and Hershey's and it's just a lot more subtle in flavor but still has like more of that. Rich taste to it that most other child friendly or child geared brands typically do. This brand is geared more towards adults clearly. The texture of it is just nice and smooth and Rich. The size of the bottle is just right, and because of how good it tasted, for the first time in a long time, I've actually almost gone through this entire bottle and I didn't even have it for a full month. It's easy to use and I can turn a bottle in my hand upside down and gently coat the walls of a cup almost like the way the baristas do at the stands.
