What drew me to this product was the water resistance of the shell of the blanket. There has been too many times where I’ve put down a picnic blanket where the ground wasn’t completely dry. The outer shell paired with the soft inside is a great combination. It then wraps up into itself and stores nicely. Picnics are now cozier with this.

Went to a concert in Seattle that was outside & at about the halfway mark it started to rain. We already had our blanket down which was comfortable to sit on and was plenty big for both my husband and I. We had also packed rain ponchos and umbrellas which we used, but I was very happy to say that the blanket kept our bottoms completely dry & did not leak through at all! We had a Dodge Durango rental car and with the seats folded down we were able to lay the blanket out in the back of it so it could dry out. It did probably take a couple of days in the car to completely dry out. When we got home from our trip, I washed it on gentle/cold & dried it for about 15 minutes on delicate; then hung up to dry completely. It's still perfect! Highly recommend!

UPDATE: 7.13.24Had this for a few months now and have used it at the beach and picnics in addition to games. Another issue I've found is how difficult it is to pack back up windy or not. You have to lay it flat and fold it perfectly to get the Velcro to line up. Even then while carrying it, the blanket would unravel due to the weakness of the Velcro and the location of the handle pulling it apart. I had to buy additional Velcro elastic bands to keep it from unravelling. Almost impossible to put away during windy times since it is very much a soft blanket. I end up wadding it up in a ball and stuffing it in a bag when I'm in a hurry. Still great for cold weather, but I wouldn't use it for a picnic especially with the fluffy side getting dirty from food spilling all over and having to pack that up.-Original review -Blanket is a nice size and is warm. Keeps the wind out and perfect for being outside camping or at a game. Only downside is the Velcro. It has a very small surface area and makes it hard pack and carry the blanket around without it unraveling which is annoying when you are walking a large field. The positioning of the handle becomes useless as it pulls the blanket open and there's no way to secure the blanket with flimsy Velcro. Otherwise it works well, just be prepared for it to unravel as you carry it.

We are a cross country and track family. Sometimes it get cold as heck sitting in the stands at meets. Bought this for hubby and he LOVES it. It keeps him cozy warm, and the wind can't cut through. Def recommend! It folds up for easy carrying which is also super convenient!

The blanket arrived with a really strong odor. So I went ahead and washed it which it says is acceptable. The item shrink near the edges and I followed the care instructions. Would not recommend getting this thinking you can wash it like other blankets. I also do not like how loud the material is and think sleeping with this would be a nightmare.

I go into the forest 3 times a week and love to lay this out under the redwoods to relax. Totally waterproof on one side and so soft on the other. I cut off the black 'envelope' thing attached as I just don't need it. I roll it up tightly and it fits well in my normal/smaller sized hiking back pack. Love it!

Lightweight and easy to transport, yet warm and waterproof! Got me through a lot of cold baseball games this spring!

Je suis en fauteuil roulant me sent protéger en cas de problèmes. Vous la recommande vraiment mieux vaut être protéger on c'est pas quand les problèmes arrivés. Ma chaises roulante à manquer de charge le soir à 9h. Pas de transport adapté pas de taxi au Saguenay (Jonquière) j'ai passer la nuit dehors à gelé secours le matin à 8h j'ai trouver la nuit longue àL'automne. Si vous êtes en fauteuil roulant je vous la recommande vraiment. Moi est dans petit sac à dos accrocher en arrière de mon fauteuil à va toujours rester la. C'est une sécurité.

Will keep you warm in moderately cold weather, great for a picnic.
