These ratchet belts are the best thing I've ever found in the way of accessories. No more belt holes that are either too tight or too loose. They're almost infinitely adjustable, so you just dial it in like you like it. And there's a wide range of adjustment.This particular one looks to be well-made and well-finished quality leather. I got the black one with gunmetal buckle, but they offer a variety of colors and buckles to suit your needs. I'm no stranger to ratchet belts and I've never had one fail due to the ratchet mechanism. I have had lower-quality backing fail, but this belt seems to made of good strong leather on both sides of the belt.I prefer this type buckle, too - there are some out these that don't use the "lift-to-release" method, and most of those use a small release button on the top or bottom of the buckle. My experience with those has been that it's too easy to release your belt by just bending over and accidentally pressing it. That's not good.I mis-ordered this particular belt by not getting enough length. I know now to order my belts longer than I think I'll need, since I can always cut them off to the right length. I might pay a couple extra dollars for the longer one, but I know I'll have enough belt.This is a 5-star belt, and I'm anxious to get my replacement.

Like these belts. Easy to cut to size. Attractive. Easy install and removal.

I purchased this for my 11 year old son. This is great quality and fits him well. The sizing description was perfect, and it's adjustability makes it great for a growing boy! This belt is a good quality and a great price.

Great product!! It was an instant winner! The inner core of the belt appears to be some kind of felt, so it isn't solid leather all the way through, but this is typical for this style of belt. The exterior layers do appear to be sufficiently thick to afford for long term wear and ruggedness.-I particularly like the false bar so it looks like my official uniform belt.

Never going back to traditional belts. Looks clean and professional while also being comfortable
