Miele SPD 10 Wide Upholstery Tool

I have a upright Miele with the same attachment but smaller. It was to difficult to maneuver on couch covers or carpet steps. I had looked for replacement for Miele dusting brush and found this....and said hmm. I bought the wide upholstery attachment and will pleased! I use it on the mattress, bed cover and hard to get under i.e. couch.This attachment saves me time because of width and covers more space than the smaller one that comes with the Miele.The only problem is that the band catches the dog hair. I find that if you take attachment off wand and suction along thestrip with the wand should take care of this. Also, it doesn't fit in the vacuum compartment but who cares...my work is cut in half compared to the other upholstery tool! This s a must have for cleaning!

Perfect for stair runners. The original attachment is good, but small when you are doing a flight of carpeted stairs. This worked great.Expected Miele quality and materials. Price is expectedly higher, but after first use you’ll say it is worth it.You can store it anywhere of course, just like your bare floor brush.Glad I finally bought it. Sorry I waited.

Not sure why they would replace a very effective felt portion of the upholstery tool with little hard rubber/ plastic teeth? It's just totally ineffective. Why try to reinvent something that worked so well for so long?

I purchased this item to replace the original upholstery tool I received with my 10 year old Miele canister vac. This one is larger than the original, but it works well and covers more area due to its size. I don't feel the price is a great value but it's doable.

I've worn out two upholstery tools in the 18 (!) years I've had my Miele vacuum cleaner. We have cats, and we have persian carpets. So I use the upholstery tool to get all the cat hair out of the carpets and off the furniture. The Wide Upholstery Tool is great! It works faster on my carpets and sofa than does the small upholstery tool that came with my vacuum cleaner.Disadvantages to the Wide Upholstery Tool are that it is too big to use on some armchairs, so I have to switch to the small upholstery tool for those, and the tool doesn't fit inside the vacuum cleaner's storage compartment.

I use this on my hardwood floors. The floor attachment that came with my Miele canister vac is too large to have enough suction to pick up all the dust and cat hair on my floors. I was using a little upholstery brush but it took forever. This is the perfect solution.

Did not fit on sweeper where tools are stored. To wide. Do u have a smaller one?

EXCELLENT addition to my beloved Miele Cat/Dog Upright vacuum!! I’m so pleased with this. PICKS UP SO MUCH PET HAIR!!!! Love it!! If you love your Miele vacuum, you need this attachment! Highly recommend!

I use this brush on everything: floors, furniture, walls, ceilings (cobwebs etc). As long as the vacuum has good suction, this little brush will pick up every last spec of dust.

works amazingly for removing pet hair. Tried so many things but this was the one thing that can tackle our pet hair problem. 4 animals int he house and carpets are always caked in long hair. This took 5 minutes to remove it all. they have never been so clean. Highly recommend.

It's wider than the original which makes it more functional. The material does a great job picking up pet hair on surface.

Exactly as described, easy to do business with, highly recommend. Really useful as removes hair etc off thicker pile carpet really well that other brushes struggle with or cannot do!

very handy when vacuuming furniture. plus the suction edge can pivot to maintain suction.
