Good stuff

Sometimes you need a clip that hold a bit more than regular large paper clips. The butterfly clips did the job. Easy to put on and off a stack of papers. These are made well and less expensive than purchasing at an office supply store.

Paperclips probably have support groups to bolster their self-esteem, as they are so easily overlooked and under-appreciated. Not to mention frequently mutilated by persons who pry their loops apart and extend them to their pre-folded length. These butterfly clips must be the bigger, better, brighter and more popular cousins of the ordinary paperclip. I haven't wanted to unfold one yet, as I am happy to admire the lovely shape. And I confess, I bought them to use as bookmarks, as I constantly misplace paper bookmarks and I thought these might be more easy to keep up with. And I want to tie pretty ribbons to the top, as I saw on Pinterest, too. I also used a pair of these yesterday for their designated use - to hold pages of paper together for mailing. Worked very well, felt much more secure that the jumbo sized regular paperclips I have always used.

These things are great. Not much else to say. The fact that I never see these in classrooms, yet they perfectly hold together a class-worths of papers, shows how under-valued these are. Small paper clips are good for Notebook paper, and the Jumbos are good for Average worksheets. But when you get to packets of 2-3 pages with 30 students each, the Jumbo Clips start bending and causing problems. These Clamps are great, their design allows them to stay flat, stay secure without ripping the top or bottom sheets, and there is almost no chance of the clip flying or sliding off, as I have seen with overloaded Jumbo paper clips. These should be a staple of every desk, taking it's rightful place alongside the regular and Jumbo paper clip.
